What is the Subscribestar trick?Yes, the subscribestar trick still works.
What is the Subscribestar trick?Yes, the subscribestar trick still works.
I think it's mainly to protect the patreon/subscribestar password. Normally, it would be pretty easy to use a decompiler to either edit around the paywall or just straight up find the password in the game files. That password could then be shared here, and then many people would have access to patreon content without paying a cent. However, obfuscation makes it nearly impossible to read and especially edit code.so the reason it runs like ass, also now it crashes a shit ton, is because he is so paranoid that people will try to what? steal his work? like anyone will touch that with a 10 foot poll knowing what kind of person jason is.
Considering how easy it was to decompile and make use of the string decoder, all it does is delay the inevitable. It wouldn't be all that difficult to brute force all of the strings in the program and pick out the appropriate one, assuming the dummy password is relying on that same form of obfuscation. However, obfuscation makes it nearly impossible to read and especially edit code.
Or they could have just solely used the Patreon/SubscribeStar authentication APIs and called it a day. Alternatively, if they absolutely insist on including a bypass (…why?), they could have learned how to properly use the obfuscation tool so that it wouldn't add a gazillion function calls per frame to look up strings like "Move."Hopefully as the game gets more content, he will be forced to stop obfuscating it to make up for performance issues and we can find the password again. The only hope until then is that someone subscribed to him shares the password here, since we now have a username that works (LoginFix).
Does this have the female playable character; Genesis?Patreon
Yes, Genesis is only playable in the Patreon/Subscribestar VersionDoes this have the female playable character; Genesis?
Have you played Kincaid? Sounds like it'd be right up your alley.Jesus christ, I just wanted a good furry game. Or well, any kind of big monster fucking women game.
Kincaid sounds good. Can find it under this forum titleThis entire game is crazy broken, befitting JasonAfex. Above average furry content but so much cockiness..
So you can't play a female char in the public build, meaning instead of all the enemy scenes you only have veeery few. The subscribestar doesn't even work anymore.. performance was awful for most times.. Patreon login was booted.. Jesus christ, I just wanted a good furry game. Or well, any kind of big monster fucking women game.
Oh, another thing I forgot to mention in my previous post: there's a bunch of silly little joke classes in the project. Stuff like "DontReadThisClass", containing a single private field with a string that says "I told you NOT to read it" (paraphrasing). Yep.

The fact that BBS just straight up isn't pleasant to play, even if it's running "smoothly," is just the icing on the cake. Kincaid and Oh So Hero! are far more deserving of support, IMO.
Were they crowdfunding those discontinued games? If not, I don't think it's really comparable. If you paint yourself into a corner with a free project it can be hard to find the time/motivation to unbury yourself (been there, done that…). Considering they've been continuing to push forward with Kincaid, even taking it through a minor mechanics overhaul, it looks like a very healthy project thus far.Kincaid? Not so much... The artists that are working on it created some M/M games but dropped em before ever reaching the halfway point in their development cycles.
I did! It was pretty alright, I liked it in total. But after already having played it back then it's just kinda boring.Have you played Kincaid? Sounds like it'd be right up your alley.
About Kincaid, there will be more normal sized enemies like the Kobolds who have the same size as Kincaid. So stay tuned if you are not a fan of the big boys.~I did! It was pretty alright, I liked it in total. But after already having played it back then it's just kinda boring.
Usually big monster x female is a good thing, but that's surprisingly rare to find despite being not that niche of a fetish. The furry fandom has it quite frequently but even there it's mostly gay stuff.
"Leporidae" is a pretty good example of a good game, but it doesnt have too much to it https://f95zone.to/threads/leporidae-v1-0-1-pale-glint.51665/
My main complaint is just that the female mc content is locked behind a paywall.
Oh burn me I confused Cookiedraggy with Carpetwurm... Sorry! I’m still trying to get familiar with all of these different artists and teams. Forget what I said about Cookiedraggy.Kincaid? Not so much... The artists that are working on it created some M/M games but dropped em before ever reaching the halfway point in their development cycles. I will admit, their gameplay and art direction are super solid, so they are definitely worth keeping an eye on. Oh So Hero! is possibly the only 2D furry NSFW game worth supporting on their crowdfunding channels since they just announced the game's roadmap, and is by far the most way above-average game, EVER.
Yep, two entirely different people. The first one is a sweet guy and the second one an arrogant prick who bans people on twitter for getting some critique.^^Oh burn me I confused Cookiedraggy with Carpetwurm... Sorry! sadly, carpetwurm does have a bad attitude when someone tries to critique him or when someone tries to call him out from the public.Oh burn me I confused Cookiedraggy with Carpetwurm... Sorry! Whew, that's good to hear. Thanks for the correction!Oh burn me I confused Cookiedraggy with Carpetwurm... Sorry! I’m still trying to get familiar with all of these different artists and teams. Forget what I said about Cookiedraggy.
oh this is sad but true, I follow their work and saw someone's suggestion on that game thirstchasm which is alright. I thought the suggestion looked perfectly reasonable but the author blew up and had a huge meltdown and I always wondered if I just read it wrong.Yep, two entirely different people.
