Agreed with this. Given that many of the scenes are non-repeatable, you will miss a lot of content if you skip to the end.

i'm level 20 and i have the tempest and the silverfin mesh equiped (i also drink all of the lava and frost potions for max atack and defense).

Please go back a few pages (I don't remember how many) and read my guide to beating her challenges.
And if you can't find it, the guide is simple.
#1:- keep guard block and insolation active
#2:- heal when needed
#3:- Attack her every 3 or 4 turns to reset her monsterous strengh and attack power back to normal (she gets bored of constant blocking)
Do these 3 steps and you should easily be able to win her challenges.

i haven't downloaded the 1.17 version of this game, how can i play my saves in the new version?

Just copy/paste your saves from your current folder into the new folder. They are named "Save01", "Save02" etc. You can copy the "TalkSaved" file as well. Don't know if it's necessary, but it won't hurt either.
