Literally my question as well. I am checking usually the "Latest Updates" corner, just to see something that catches my eye, just to be quickly discouraged by the blue-Tag-Of-No-Way.
Unless there is a real combat and justification for the "RPGM" engine in first place, fine. If its used just to move around the place, buy stuff, find stuff and move the plot in any other way, why the hell is it not in Renpy or any other "VN" tool at disposal.
Because idiots donate money on patreon etc when they do. Easiest way to make rpgm games disappear is not to support devs that make them.
not sure what to do now I have toy, the owner doesnt want it back, and cant walk off either side of beach

i think u have to buy the cheaper drug from the dealer (with the money from the old guy), then u have a poison toy or something like that and dog goes good night
a. Because some developers prefer using a point-and-click IDE instead of having to program.
b. Because some developers like the Retro SNES feel of the generated game.
c. Some other personal preference of the Developer.

If you don't like the RPGM games then stop trolling the game threads listed RPG/RPGM. Is that to difficult for you to understand? In life you make what they call 'choices'! (Chose) "I think I'll ignore this thread/game and find one I like"!
I don't bother with these comments but its beyond old with the crying and whining over games people don't play but continue to clog up threads with brainless comments over not liking RPGM. If you do play the games then why are you complaining!
There's several ways to make games under RPGM where they can look and play differently then the typical ones devs keep making. Only they don't want to bother or very few are trying it, since making a standard build is popular (if its not broke then why reinvent the wheel) Usually its the Jap devs that explore and push the games engine as far as it can go.

For anyone that's still having problems with the first maize in the castle here are some helpful things:
1. DO NOT!!!!! go to any of the chests that have piles of bones lined up to them because this are death traps, well except for one;
2. hold shift for running because you need to out run the knights that will start chasing you, but they will stop at certain points for example first one will stop when you reach the second chest where as the second will stop when you will follow the rope to the broken rock pile, the third will stop once you reach the area that's south from the flames and the fourth will stop once you reach the hall with the knights leading to the final chamber;
3. in order to deactivate the flames you need to get a tool that's located on one of the knights and the spot you need to use that tool is located right next to the fist chest you opened when entering the maize and once you do so the flames will be gone and your be able to continue; (pleas thank
4. Now this is a interesting part, in order to get whats in the special chest (BLUE CHEST IN TOP LEFT AREA) you need the special key, this key is located in one of the death trap chests which is located in the bottom right area next to the beginning of the rope, but before you can even open that chest safely you need to deactivate the trap and to do so you have to activate a hidden switch that's located next to the last knight that you will have to run from, DO NOT go to your RIGHT instead as mentioned before go to the final knight which is by the LEFT spot and check behind the knight's back for the switch, once deactivated go to the previously mentioned death trap chest which is also has a double layer in which your find the special key for the special chest and grab your reword from it; (pleas thank
5. now the final puzzle is not that difficult, the numbers for the combination are located on the pictures and the combination in it self is really easy; (its 317 if your still wondering)
Now i'm not sure what to do with the item from the blue chest but it probably will be useful in some other areas and if anyone find out pleas let us know.
