@vortexcannon is their an offline version in the planning? I know this question has been asked before but plans change so hopefully you gave some thought about it.

Played the online version and could't continue due to using cheat engine to edit my stats which seems quite frustrating in a single player game.

No plans for offline. All my games connected to one personal account, it stores your savegames, and allows you to use the multiplayer functionality. For registration you need only email (you can use disposable, but working), no other private information is stored.

Okay but what about using cheats for your own enjoyment? Although the online part is really putting me off, it is your decision as a game developer. The reason for it just can't justify it for me personally. Not interested in multiplayer and savegames could be stored elsewhere.

Cheats will be available in public version later, from game menu.
At the moment, the server does not accept modified data from the client, since they often contain incorrect data, which can damage saves for all game days.

macOS version is currently available in early access only, for the club's users. The public version will be after finishing the work on the game. No ETA.

Okay thanks for the answers. It will be a hard pass until that happens for me but I will keep an eye out for this game. I do truly hope you will release an offline version, maybe after it is completed.

The reason it forces you to go online should be quite obvious lol. It's to force you to log and check your account level (ie silver, gold and the rest). That's also the reason why there is no cheat usable and why the game prevents you from editing anything with cheat engine, because those are kept behind a paywall (hence why you are forced to play online even for solo gameplay).

While there's nothing wrong with doing that as a dev since it is normal to earn money for your hard work (though you seem like quite a greedy one, but that's beside the point), lying to people even by omission or thinking they are dumb enough so that noone will cal you on this if you give dodgy excuses to justify your practice is downright insulting.

After the thread promotion by admin a 600% of the people from the usual load came to the server, so that it slows down a little. The load will be distributed soon and everything will be ok.
