Yeah everything would have been simpler just:
- Episode 2 part 1 (complete).
- Episode 2 part 2 v4.

But I think it is a good thing that they did. Firstly reduced confusion and secondly I feel that now that they have made it a separate episode and given it a title "crossroads", maybe they are more clear with what exactly they want to do with the story now. Like episode 2 is named " New Life" and it was about Monica's new life as.... A cheap prostitute I guess. So I guess crossroads could also mean something.
And maybe it is a coincidence but the very next update after the title change is said to have a big event. Solidifies my belief that they have finally started to take the story in a new direction

What new directions are you thinking about? For me it was prety clear that the game would have 2 endings, either she gets totally corrupted and has a bad end or she manages to get her revenge. What other scenarios come to your mind?

I in no way was trying to speak about an endlng. I don't think there is one any time soon. But we already have more than 2 endings with certainty. Since one ending is with Dick the Lawyer. Now for the others it could most likely be
1. The ranch
2. Where she gets back everything
3. She becomes Marcus's "lover" or his pet
4. One of her efforts with the investors or Julia succeeds ( though it is most unlikely ) and she escapes the country.
5. Maybe some end relating with the husband ( either he saves her or something else )
Don't know how the Ralph thing will play out but I feel it won't help her much in her goals.
What I was really trying to say was that the this might be the time from when the story starts revealing itself or maybe new storylines and characters are introduced to increase the level of depravity and humiliation.
What I have been feeling is that the game is no longer having the same level of hardcore Content and perversions that it had when it started out. It feels like the game is stuck with the same storylines and characters and the scenes are no longer progressing in terms of Monica's degradation. The level of low has been same for a long time. Philip storyline finally tried to amp up the hardcore level but has not been executed yet.

Obviously there is going to be a ending where Monica falls to the bottom, so to speak - she becomes a street hooker and a junkie. Those scenes where she drinks vodka and smokes weed are getting her there.
Probably there is going to be an ending where Monica becomes a porno star. Maybe one where she runs the Shiny Hole or/and the escort service.

Thank you for the reply. Indeed it seems that there are quite a few storypaths that the author can explore. The quoted statement made me feel a bit disappointed. I hope that there is an increase in the levels of depravity and corruption. That is one of the key reasons I like to play female protagonist games

You can unlock the gallery by editing "Achievements.rpy" in "FashionBusiness/game/Quests/" while you guys wait for someone willing to make a proper mod.
Changing the last 2 "return False" to "return True" at the bottom (line 304 & 309) will unlock every scene.
I attached a file with these 2 changes already made.
Rename it to "Achievements.rpy" (remove the numbers and _ that f95 adds when you download a file) and place it in "Fashion Business/game/Quests/", create the folder if you dont have it.

you are right but this is developer decision...
he have done some mistakes... The EP 2 was planned to be not so big...
but the anxiety of following too much the advice of the team and supporters made the plot a monster size that got a little out of hand to the developer due to the bugs caused by the size and this is not a pure RenPy engine game (the code was changed to make it similar as an RPGM engine that was the engine used for the first release)
Developer's decision on his work is always to be appreciated ... I completely agree with this decision ...
This game is in developing phase... changes are normal in this phase...when the game will be complete
This change will be forgotten and it will be easier to put it in a catalog with other titles where there are rules about episodes and version number.
But I still suspect that the Team is not helping him... They seem to have no experience in computing and programming
