It's been a long ass time, but I am definitely sure of it that she was referred to as his half sister since she's his mother's daughter but from the guy she's with now.

That's weird that she calls her dad by name in a scene. My best guess would be MC's mom had Sheila with another guy before meeting George, but if George is actually her father I don't know why she would refer to him by his name, unless that's just a mistake

I don't know exactly, but IIRC, he calls her sister. I don't remember him using the step designation.

There's a scene during the 3rd time he's molesting her in her sleep and he goes "Can't believe I'm fucking my stepsister", which is what created the doubt in my head in the first place. Later on in the story he calls her his sister, but others refer to her once or twice as MC's stepsister.

Playing through this after I posted, every time I saw him reference Sheila, it was as sister. Maybe once or twice (earlier) he referenced her as step sister, but as the story progressed, he was calling her sister. Truthfully, earlier in the game, it may have been out of resentment that his mother was taking care of her as a mother (rather than him), which indicates (legitimate) feelings of abandonment. But truthfully, I think the two of them bonded, and that's why the "step" got dropped.

What routes ? It's not really a route when nothing change at the end of it ^^ You just maybe see another scene but it doesn't as of now have any impact, so you could just have scrolled back a bit to test things ^^ (Unless you do something like a "RP route" for yourself ^^) Well, as long as you got a blast ^^
As for the mother, all I got is that when MC father was accused, she left without him (And in that latest scene, I think MC say something like when the mother was leaving, she said that she didn't want to bother with MC, but I may be wrong)

About the route bro i was talking about the karma positive and negative paths....& about mother i think you are not wrong where she said something to mc when leaving BUT read my first comment bro it DEFINITELY got to do something with zaibatsu and george in previous update & to somewhat lie confirms it was the clan story and phone talk between her and george when he was regularly asking about mc situation in house..... in beginning up to this point she herself seems confused about it...pay attention to text bro...mc and her story-line is definitely getting better...(i just don't want any forced sex to happen (like the dream where mc forced himself on her) man when it can easily be avoided when dev. adds karma system).....i hope dev. just don't take a whole year ( almost like before ) for updating the game last version was the first time i played it and i got hooked ever since....my last save was exactly at june 10..2020.....& he drops this update on may 28..2021.....in all honesty if there is love path with tomoe i'm definitely going for it....

The old save don't work on this update so you either had to start a new game, download other player's save that they share or download Lain's new mod to skip to new content

An old save should work if it was from the last version at least, and provided that was 11 months ago it would be weirder if you had an even earlier version.

I started playing right from the Maki scene we left off on, if anyone needs that save I can try to get it just let me know.

Yesterday I joined the Patreon after getting access to the walkthrough since I'm a Lain's subscriber, so I decided to give it a go, but after pledging 15€, I haven't been able to download the Mac version because they author is "having issues".
Hopefully he will have them fixed by Monday, because I'm dropping my support by then, and never checking this game again

Don't worry, I'll just wait, I pledged for it, but I'm really disappointed with the author, I back other projects like Corruption where the Mac version is released at the same time as the PC, but it seems in here the author doesn't care

Ah, but this is in fact quite easy to understand. People on this site want :

-a good game
-in English
-with a story rivaling To Kill A Mockingbird
-lots of characters and scenes that are NOT MADE in Honey Select 'cause that'd be too easy
-the creator should give it to them for free
-an update every month or mark the game abandoned
-updates that take like a week to go through so they don't have to wait that long for the next one
-updates that include their favorite character

If one of these conditions is not met, the game sucks and everyone should know that it sucks.

Some people here also hate the game, but check the thread on a hourly basis to see when the next update is dropping, some think that during a global pandemic literally nothing could go wrong in someone's life or family, I've even seen someone doubting the speed at which the developer was uploading the game (wtf).

Truly, the pinnacle of game critics. The dev should consider donating to this site seeing how much they have positively impacted the game's development and content.
