theres no 1 make or break thing in deciding to back or not, these changes simply were unwanted(by me) and reduces any perceived value for backing westane to a point Im no longer willing to, esp as Id then be paying to develop content I find obnoxious with one of the few interactive characters in the game

Given how little content there was with her, and it being heavily dependant on Johnny's levels of drugging (who incidentally has more content than Tasha, with part of their content being mixed together), it would be hard to say that Tasha was a favourite for anything other than a minority of people. Beyond the porn actress used for her image and visual content that is.
Hell, once Johnny becomes Chanel, there's actually less content for Tasha, since she's no longer domming him in the morning as well as afternoon.

does it matter? shes 1/6th of the interactable women you have/can progress with. Thats a healthy chunk of content to avoid, and if you want to get chanel, it becomes impossible to avoid entirely because she's integral to that series of events making 2 different characters you need to avoid, which is 1/3rd of the characters now...
As I said the value for investing in the game went to shit(for me) so why would I pay him to make content that I feel is shit and makes the whole damned thing worse?(Note I didnt count sophie dee since she isnt interactable at the moment)

Whats bothering me is that Westane hasnt responded to any of the negative comments or criticism about this and only to the positive patreon comments. Not that theres much, most seem to be in favor or havent commented. A poll really should have been used.

Why does that matter? The point is that people could've liked the content before, and now that she's a tranny, there'll be people who have to avoid her content and she's one of the few characters you can interact with in the entire fucking game. Why shill so hard for Westane? I'm not saying the one change ruins the game, I'm saying it negatively affects the game and shows that the creator doesn't really give a shit about anyone's opinion but his own. There is no reason why he shouldn't have made a poll for this, it's very simple and allows the people donating and playing to give actual feedback on the game.

Personally I hope that people have misunderstood and that Tasha remains a woman, however with a path to make her a trans. That would be the optimal thing.
Doing a total change to a character I don't think it's right, you can add a new character that is originally a trans but just making a girl into a trans is a heavy change.

I don't believe if Westane made it clear if the change is coming in the future version of 5.2, or 5.4. I've no idea what's happening with 5.3, nothing has been said or done with that.
That would be because that site is about gender-identity / gender-type / sexuality transformation and not about the relationship-types of the people in the story/game, which is why the Browse by Adult Theme and the Browse by Transformation Theme search features don't include things like 'incest' etc...

Why am I making the point the way I am? Why am I "schilling"? Here's why:
Fact 1: Westlane has posted in this thread and plausibly follows it.
Fact 2: Most developers actuvela listen for feedback and tend to take it seriously.
Fact 3: I speak from expiriene when I say the more hysteric in tone the feedback the less developers listen. I say this with expirience behind the seen on numerous dev teams. "Minor/medium change made. Game ruined forever." Type comments are worth a fraction of the power of "I think this is a bad change for me and many other players." Threats to de-support them or like also tend to raise more anger then make devs listen harder.
Fact 4: The more the overall reaction is associated with hyaterics the more devs tend to mentally discard other critical comments. Normal psychological processes in play.
Fact 5: I actually *want* Westlane to listen to my feedback.
Fact 6: When people start running around declaring the end is nigh, it actively hurts the ability of my feed back to be listened to.

This whole argument from other people makes me laugh though as you seem to be the only other one who realizes it, but he even stated in the post that her whole character arc is femdom so you were gonna end up getting dom'd either way dick or no dick if you went with her.
No offense, but why should he give a fuck what your opinion on the subject is going forward if you don't plan on pledging?
That has always been a problem with some devs, they listen to people who aren't paying, that is a quick way to end up like Veqvil with a really popular game topic but absolutely shit in pledges to show from it.
If people do not like the options the dev made you can always make a mod to change it.
