That he didn't, that he will take in nearly $100,000 for this update and that some of the delays were predictable (and avoidable) suggests that he's less than sincere.

No doubt his sycophants and white knights will attack this, but everything that has delayed it this month could be avoided by better project management, by sharing draft sketches with the posers and the coders while art assets are completed, by just being prepared for Patreon to slam their anti-incest hammer down (which wasn't a shock). This monthly billing cycle just means they can rake in about $300,000 a year for 3 updates because now it's happened once watch it happen again, and again. For comparison, the President's salary is $400,000.

Cause updates were better and not delayed when team and patronage was smaller. We went from update each month to update every other month to this ( update every 3 and half month ). Each update take longer then one before it. He is testing his 'sychophants' as @

called them and test is working. They are behind him now matter how hard he fucks them. It will continue, he will fuck his fans even more in future, because they allow it. There is good reason why update isn't out yet. It's end of the month and people that were on bench to either stop or continue to support him, will pay for April just to see update and believe next update won't be delayed. If he released it for example on Monday a lot of people would remove support for next month.

It's a reason why i used to support this project, but i see it as money milking machine now and will never spend 1$ on it.
Good game, horrible behaviour from yet another successful developer.

Care to explain? Unlike almost all other games you gain nothing by pledging/paying except the right to vote and some spoilers. So I don't really get what the release schedule has to do with it. Either you like what DC is doing and pledge or you don't like it and don't pledge. There is no in between like with other games where you may be unhappy but still pay because you want the game. So if people want to remove their patronage they can just do it without any major drawbacks and will still get the game on day one.

Yes...that's what a sycophant is. Someone who acts obsequiously towards someone. In this case by not criticizing or even accepting that there is valid criticism to be made. He, like irredeemable, will no doubt have defenders who believe he can do no wrong. My criticisms of him are from a position of understanding that the way he is running this project will, over time, increase the length between updates which benefits him and not his patrons or supporters. There is no incentive for the work to be done quicker, quite the opposite. When he realised the four teacher update would take longer than planned (which was back in January) he could have switched to a per update payment. This would have shown good faith by saying, "I know this update will take longer than I had promised so I'm foregoing payment until it is done". Instead, he kept with the monthly payment system which basically means that he is rewarded for delay.

This post right here sums up just about all of my feelings about the flotsam floating around in this thread at the moment. Kind of wondering when the mods are going to step in to be honest. Hell a thread like what Tim has suggested doesn't even have to be under the games section. Take it to the general discussions thread where there are people who might actually be interested in reading about whether Patreon developers are a bunch of con artists or not.

So, to put this thread a little bit more back on topic, who else can't wait to see what will happen with Ms Bissette? We've been getting teased with her for so damn long, so I'm really hoping the content will make the build up worth it XD

She's somewhat the one teacher I were have no clue about what could happen though I'd guess DC may change her old quests a little (especially since it looks like he wants to remove some of the webcam stuff from the library). We've seen one new spoiler scene from the classroom, so I'm looking forward to see more of her.

Else I don't really have a favourite this update so I'll just see whose story I like the most.

It's not stupid, it's true. Posts discussing developer of the game BELONG to as you called it "GAME DISCUSSION THREAD".
DC is creating this game, everyone has the right to talk about him, his actions and what he is doing to it.
You can't expect people to talk only about what pixels he puts in his game. You can't be serious.

Let me be the final word on the topic. If you have an issue with the timeliness of the developer's releases and are a patron take it up with the developer on Patreon. On this site you may voice your concerns about the new release taking too long, but not over and over and over and over and over again while getting increasingly hostile towards other members! I am tired of making this post again and again in thread after thread, if all you wanna do is come here and be a miserable prick then you won't be here much longer.

Roxxy is still next update you can find the info on the roadmap on page 1 on his Patreon page.

Sister update was removed because it is "incest" thats a no-no on patreon these days.

On the stream a couple weeks ago it seemed like he was considering bumping Roxxy based on the poll. Not 100% I interpreted him correctly though. Hopefully they stick with Roxy though, I was quite looking forward to that update.
