Why no mo incest?
Patreon obviously stepped in, and the Dev kneeled and followed their instruction to the letter. Thing is, all you have to do is allow the player to name characters, and their relationship to each other. It's so simple of a work around...given the nature of the world we live in though, it's not surprising that some people are just born to let whoever they see as superior, tell them what to do, and to let them do the thinking for you.

Someone else said to download the patch from Yes We Are and that it still works. Looking at the way that one is coded I don't see how it would modify any new content but it should work for the stuff that was already in Yes We Are.

I might take sit down and update the patch from Yes We Are to cover the new stuff later today unless someone beats me to it.

Slonique's track record

Completed: 4
Abandoned: 6
Currently developing: 2

This is just based on the tag alone. Completed could be questionable. But definately not a great track record to have.
There is those that spent 4-5 years on a game and not even completed one yet... If we going to talk about track records. There is games here that got abandoned because the creator didn't get the pledges and support they wanted for it and then started work on another game as well. Idk if Slonique suffer from attention spawn disorder or something why some of these games get abandoned, but at least he doesn't give 2 flying fucks about pledges and support.

Depending on the developer the amount of content is pretty staggering in comparison. Most highly rated. SLoniques few completed games have low ratings representing a poor quality overall.

Not sure how I'm supposed to take that...but it doesn't sound complimentary to me. Definately not a good reason to give him any support at all.

People crap all over Slonique for being Slonique. Ratings on this site mean diddly squat. You have initial releases with a few renders that might end up with a 5 star, like wtf? Sloniques previous completed game, received more updates over the 2 years before completion than almost no other game on this site. Every time a new update came, people would go; he never complete, it get abandoned, yada yada yada.

If a creator keep trudge on and make content (not necessary the content you like, but still) not caring about level monetizing they get, I would claim they more dedicated than someone who abandon and give up due to lack of pledges and support. At least they come across as making whatever they want to for their own reasons and not due to how much support they get from month, to month. Creators picking up old projects is nothing new either.
