Nope, I tried to talk to all the princess, day and night but no one gives me that gem
If you got the ones in China and Greece the third is in Jungle Cruise, then she asks for a fourth and you have to go see Ariel during the day

What I mean is this.
This is a bug in ren'py. During some transitions where the girl's outfit changes, it throws a fit if you don't have an image corresponding to the first outfit AND the second outfit, even if the sprite is never actually shown. There is no "open" version of the bust art, you're not missing anything.

Hint: visiting the attractions during the day resets an invisible counter as to how often they break. Like doing preventative maintenance. It's an incentive to actually go out and enjoy the park -- and all the random events we filled it with.
I'm going to make a recommendation: Make it so the 'preventative maintenance', 'break down,' and 'villain encounter' checks only happen once per time period per attraction rather than once every time you open the map. As-is, visiting attractions is almost purely a detriment, because it means opening the map one more time, causing even more other rides to break down (and subtracting from the number of times you can open the map in "preventative maintenance" protection).

Started all over since I haven't played for a while. Forgot how incredible frustrating it is to have things break down and burn to the point where half the place is unusable, and the dwarves can only repair so much so fast. It's like the game is begging me to cheat.

There really needs to be hints in here somewhere. You should be able to visit the wizard and have him say "Have you tried...?" or otherwise point you in the right direction. Right now, I'm spending each day repairing, and each night visiting the villains. I've beaten them all at drinking, have solved all problems but Frollo's, have seen scenes from almost everyone, and I just keep repeating everything, talking to everyone I can think of, visiting the only two girls that have appeared (day and night) and don't know what else to do.

Games should be challenging but they should be challenging based on strategy, not the luck of happening to click on the right place on the right day or whatever other silly reason might be there.

I love the art, I love the humor, I hate the gameplay.

When you are granted a magic pen with the ability to rewrite reality, you immediately begin creating your very own theme park...and filling it with sexy princesses!
Is the MC's default name Henry?

Everyone forgets that this game is technically a management sim, if a rudimentary one. It's up to you to balance your time between the girls and the park. If your park rating is too low, concentrate on drawing for several days without going out and risking the RNGods. If you're tired of your attractions breaking down, spend your money on the upgrades instead of the newest outfit. And if you're in it entirely for the h-content, then why do you care if the whole park's on fire?

I love a good strategy game. Here, I get things burning based not on a decision I made, but from some random thing simply to make things burn. That's not strategy, that's luck. If I made bad decisions in managing my park, then I should face consequences. That's what strategy is about. This just isn't fun, and the point of the game is to be fun. I mean, come on, I'm not the only one saying that.

I love the art, I like the humor, I like the drinking game. But the "strategy" is more "find the right person and click on them at the right time through trial and error" and "constantly fix things that are breaking like you're playing a whack-a-mole game" and not "figure out a solution using your brain."

You need to earn $2M, which I think will take 200+ days even after getting all upgrades, in order to eventually get the nightclub (requires a bit more stuff afterwards, but that's the biggest grind of the game) and Jessica Rabbit. I recommend using console commands for that, since that's really fucking tedious with no actual gameplay involved - just get to a point you are bringing in a few thousand a day passively and then click 'advance time' 2000 times in a row (taking about a half-hour of real time).

It sounds like you're probably missing Belle (and her Enchanted Castle) and Ariel (and her Grotto). I'm not sure what caused the ability to get Belle, but check that you can't draw her Attraction. If you can't, you probably need to continue dating the girls - and to do that, you need high Park Rating, which is pretty much impossible to get until you get Belle and the ability to actually perform actions to increase Park Rating. I recommend using console commands to cheat that Park Rating up, because once it's in the dump and you don't have Belle yet there's no way to increase it except RNG at some of the attractions - and those attractions have a seemingly equal chance to reduce your Park Rating as well, so if you need to increase it from 20 to 80 to date someone you're SOL (plus, there's the problem that every time you visit an attraction another attraction might break down or get visited by villains).

I doubt the people who made the game have ever played through it without cheats, so you probably shouldn't either.

Wow, that hurts. I'm sorry you think so little of us. Of course we've playtested the game, without cheats as a player would. The only sticky point is the expansion park, which is meant to be difficult to unlock, but of course it's harder if you're starting the game for the first time or restart with every version.

If you can't, you probably need to continue dating the girls - and to do that, you need high Park Rating, which is pretty much impossible to get until you get Belle...
As we've said before multiple times, dates do not block other progress in any way. Dates (and a small hit to income) are the only thing that park rating affects, but if you're still concerned about it, simply building all the attractions should give you more than enough to date again. That's assuming you're not clicking every red exclamation and needlessly taking the hit every time one appears.

Here, I get things burning based not on a decision I made, but from some random thing simply to make things burn. That's not strategy, that's luck. If I made bad decisions in managing my park, then I should face consequences.
The "decision" you made was to not immediately buy the upgrades that prevent those attractions from burning. That's probably not what you want to hear, but that's the "strategy" part. You know that there's a possibility of a random event causing trouble, so do you try to deal with it pre-emptively, or do something else with your time/money instead?

"find the right person and click on them at the right time through trial and error"
I'd be interested in a for-instance of this. We try to hold players' hands as much as possible through things, with the exception of a few purposely hidden scenes and things that you should be able to pick up by paying attention while playing the game. 90% of the time the thing blocking a player will be talking to Yen Sid--which we say outright to do a lot in the tutorial. I'll give you that there are more characters to try talking to "randomly" if you're stuck now than when the game started, but everything important triggers automatically when you visit a place. You'll know instantly once you've found the thing you're after and can move on if not.

Please, keep posting your criticisms and ideas, as the team takes them all seriously. We all love this project (which is why it upsets us when you insinuate that we don't care), and have reasoning behind every decision that was made. You may not agree with that reasoning or think it's valid, but we can at least try to explain and debate it.

I was on day 114 with nothing new left to unlock without buying the 2mil expansion, so I decided screw it let's see how long it'd take to get there w/o cheats (750k already in the bank) just by mashing the clock over and over.

I got there on day 277. I'm sure there's a smarter ways of getting here, and I'm aware it's meant to be difficult to unlock but even then I feel like 2m is a bit too much.

Am I stupid or is there no reliable way to increase park rating? maybe 1% of the time clicking an attraction actually raises it, 49% nothing happens and 50% it lowers it.

Click on MC's PC and hit "schedule", you can move the girls around the bottom row and have them give +1 rating per girl per time slot (+4 day and +4 night, total +8 per "day")

Hit the bottom row of upgrades to make them stop exploding. Rush those on everything day 1 and nothing will ever break again. 10k per building once and forget that fire ever existed

Honestly, I don't see why some people complain about this game to me this is already perfect, sure it takes a lot of time to progress but isn't that how games really are?

Just wish there will be some Harem Option Dates soon and More Date Contents that Bring the Whole Girls Together but that's a Sight to See in the Future, so Please Don't Get Discouraged by Others And Keep Focusing On the Project, I really want to see how this Story Unfolds.

Thank You For All The Hard Work!:)

I for one enjoy management games perhaps a bit too much. My only gripe with the game is how tedious it is to navigate to the upgrade window. Small gripe, I know. No, not sure of a better way to do it in Renpy.

I'm looking forward to more harem related content, side character content, and of course, new characters to add to the park.

Great game. +1
