VN Ren'Py The Roommate [v0.11.03] [togs]

So much to do, so little time! Lots to talk about, in no particular order:

The Phonebook is obviously just the bare bones right now, but hopefully a good mechanism to allow the player to mix things up a little.

Still need to make some tweaks as mentioned by Vleder.

Then two things happen - I'll put out a final build for week six and send the beta build for week seven to the suckers beta testers.

Week Seven will have at least the beginnings of the various receptionists' individual storylines. Most of those are likely to play out over two or more weeks and (as I have mentioned before) it's my intention that there should be some turnover of staff over time. So in theory you should eventually be able to explore most, if not all, of those if you're so inclined.

I still need to go back through the old post to fix the links/images at the bottom of my posts!

I suspect the phone is going to be a very interesting and possibly fun addition once it is fleshed out and a total nightmare for you until then. With all the possible story lines involving ASI, the secret companies, whatever is happening in England, secret projects and all the girls added to the mix, this game could become massive in scope. I am looking forward to wherever this ride goes.

As far as tweaking goes, I do not check the script or read the code. It's all learn as I play it through on multiple runs. I'll leave those debates to others.

As I've said any number of times, I don't think this is the way to play, but I'm not going to fight over it.

Might it make more sense to wait until the bug fixes are all done before doing the mod?

I very much liked the v0.4 and 0402 updates, except that it still hasn't added back the cunnilingus render from the end of v0.2 that was cut in v0.3.

By the way, I chose Cassie and Bree in the game and the poll because they, along with Aria and Jennie, were among Lois Lane's top picks for the job, and I felt it was unprofessional to make hiring choices based on who I personally thought was most attractive or nepotism. Unless the whole point was to pick the women who I thought were most attractive, in which case the game did not clearly drive home that priority/prerogative. Though in hindsight, choosing Aria for the secondary position would've made Kari more happy. But Lois said Kari clearly didn't want the job, and Cassie was the best candidate, and Kari wanted Aria to get the job. So I feel everyone who voted Kari in the poll didn't really think about any of that or didn't finish the update first, because if she didn't have so many votes right now, Cassie would be in first place and Aria would be second, which is probably a better fit for the game going forward.

That is the two that I chose...... It made sense according to qualifications.

In many VNs i just enable the skip unseen text as the story isnt much...but this one....this one has ma glued to every line of the text...hucows? hucows! Lois? O-M-G!!! She is killing it...with the wardrobe AND with the dialogue between her and the MC...also thank you dev for the "info" - nice touch! And for putting one of the hucows facilities in my humble middle Europe country
