Just want to mention that those who have a decent PC can do upscaling and frame generation real time with programs like lossless scaling.

I used AI to upscale the video to 5K, which took me around 15 hours. Later I realized it just takes way too long. I even tried 8K once—the file ended up being a massive 40GB.
Basically, I’ve been upscaling most Hololive videos. Honestly, some of the originals are a bit blurry in certain parts (some even look kinda ). The original bitrate was only around 20Mbps, but after upscaling it went up to about 7–8GB with a base bitrate of ~200Mbps. Eventually, I settled on around 60Mbps, keeping the file size at about 1GB.
Even though that’s only a 3x increase, the results are still really good.
