But how did they KNOW the name of the game??? They'd have to have access to his Patreon page and online presence etc. And if that's how they figured it out then I guess its better to leave any mention of your game out of your Patreon, at least anywhere that is publicly visible. Like the banner, profile pic, tiers, about me etc.

Payoneer knows of my Patreon since I gave it when they wanted to know my source of funds. I think everyone with a Payoneer has been asked for this, so that could be the answer, since he mention his game, NS-evolution, on Patreon. So maybe Payoneer thinking it's something like nazi propaganda could be an explanation. Still seems extreme to just ban him without even contacing him first.

He said he never provided the link for Patreon. As far as I'm aware you're only asked to provide the link once, when you create your Payoneer. He made his in 2014 for freelancer so he likely gave the link of his freelancer account.

No, Payoneer required me to update with this information just a few months ago, and I know it happened to other Payoneer devs recently too. You mentioned it in your thread start btw.

i already done that, Payoneer customer care is really bad... most of the answers was bot like ones. Patreon on the other side was more kindly, but they avoided my query as to how it is possible that such a thing could happen.
Following is a screen of my last email sent to Patreon dated September 1, still no response.

Maybe you who have your account active recieve some answer and I would appreciate that.




I will try again by opening a new ticket, but the answer might be something like, payoneer cannot give us information about the reason for closing your account other than that you went against the TOS.

Payoneer's response below is in Spanish, it came to me after at least 3 responses to their emails with a delay of more than a week each that looked like bot auto responses, a vulgar copy paste. The highlight basically says that they as Payoneer, don't know the reason why the account was banned


the following is a literal translation using googleof the sentence highlighted in the next screen:

´Unfortunately, we do not have information on why your account was closed´

That would be a case of extreme paranoia that requires immediate hospitalization... It would be unfortunate that they have drawn such a conclusion without having read the synopsis of the game, also the subtitle says very large in the banner itself ´a gigolo simulator. I highly doubt it, but at this point anything can be expected

I don't want to poke the bear on Payoneer by asking them, in case they are starting to go after Patreon adult creators. And they would never give me any information about your case. I hope you can find out what it was about at some point.

I've been surfing the Payoneer subreddit and there are SO MANY posts from within the last 4 months saying they're accounts got blocked. I wonder if they're doing house cleaning or what's up.

now that gets REALLY worrying...

Also another thing I would suggest to Payoneer users is to do everything you can to stay under the radar. Don't send them emails unnecessarily, don't contact them etc. There was a guy who got banned because he applied for a card, that's it, he was saying he wished he hadn't. When you apply for a card they ask for some stuff, they asked for his bank statement, he sent it, weren't satisfied with it. So they asked for utility bills, he sent it, a few days passed and boom, banned for life. All because instead of just withdrawing to his bank account like he had, he wanted a fancy card.

They probably found something in his bank statements they didn't like, maybe something in the utility bills, whatever it is, they'll find something. So better not poke the bear.

I would love to find out more what's happening with Payoneer. I've just got permanently banned from Paypal, so my only choice now is Payoneer. That's why I've read all 3 pages of this topic.

Someone got some updates about this topic. I am a Patreon creator and my business account was banned by Paypal after 3 years using it without issues and keeping over 700£. If Patron flags my account as a +18 so which option will we have all +18 creators just close Patreon account?
