I see. I don't feel like apologizing for what I did. I've put so much time and effort into this framework and these games, losing hours worth thousands of dollars. I'll admit I could've been smarter about the whole thing though, and it's probably my fault for getting leaked.
maybe here's another thing.
probably this mindset hasn't occurred to you, or maybe even the customers themselves hasn't looked at it this way.
but somewhere down there it guides their spending choices.
sometimes this applies, at least for me:
we pay since we want to see more of what you'll add in the future.
maybe get it the earliest possible?
sometimes i even tip or subscribe coz i really like it and the dev, no expectations
we dont want to pay just to see what you already have lying around.
ah so we can never see it unless we pay? nah.
haven't check out all of it but bad reviews? nah.
doesn't make sense right?
they're just paying to see more, what's the difference?
good graces and good relationship with your audience.
treat that as a part of your investment.
if it needs the next update to start earning, if you can manage it, make the 0.1 demo free?
i cant pinpoint titles, but i think i've seen demo-only titles,
but they are self-sufficient experiences you'd want more of.
My friend, I've been nothing but courteous and sincere in supporting My Girlfriend's New Kink. Haven't I personally complimented you and offered valuable insight on your dev journey?
So, what happened to your boast about building an uncrackable, personal framework that no one could bypass because you're supposedly the best? It was cracked in less than 24 hours!
Lesson learned: never issue a challenge. This is F95; they can crack anything
Oh nice, the other paywall retard showed up to glaze him. Lmao. At this point I might as well just report your patreon to the porn companies that you stole the videos from and watch you cry. Making money off of copyrighted content is illegal you know!
I saw this game in Gamecore's sandbox, and it caught my attention because the author is refreshing the game's page to increase the number of views with his own views. Out of curiosity, I decided to check out the leaked premium version. Unfortunately, no surprises, just what I expected. But the artwork is interesting.

it being promoted on f95 only improves your financial gains as many other porn games that were promoted on this site have, if it wasn't promoted here you wouldn't have made as much as a financial gain. your attitude and the way your "pay me now to see more" system is what's sabotaging your financial gain, is really being a baby about it worth the less financial gain?
From the previews, I assume some of these are supposed to be the same characters. But their faces/hair/looks keep changing in every render. Zero effort push-button renders & didn't even attempt to use an existent system for consistency.
The game is heavily paywalled, making most scenes inaccessible. On top of that, the developer’s cringe-worthy comments don’t help. Unless he drops the ego, this project is going nowhere. Definitely not worth supporting.
I mean, we've all given thoughts on the concept, Omega Games politely advised and opined, and Dev took offence and politely said as much. I wouldn't call the conversation between them nor the fact that dev tried to control the distribution by unconventional means it cringe worthy, or deserving of being called a donkey, pathetic,... (Sorry I quoted you randomly from amongst the various mean? posts), just saying i don't see how the situation really warrants us being offended, let alone shaming someone for not getting on with the haphazard program..

maybe you could at least request to have it on the OP?
i don't always check if dev's are present and have allowed sharing, but when i see that banner i don't download..
Sorry how this played out and if i've had a role in it. If it's worth anything I won't download the premium unless you unbegrudgingly greenlight the thing with. Best of luck to you and mrj.1337
I got a conspiracy for ya:
Notice how barely any of them have any version past version 0.1 or 0.2
Since it's AI, it could all just be one dude spamming out different copies.
And then taking in dozens of different patreon donations.
Then once every 4-6 months they will give the AI a new prompt to make another scene.
And boom! Infinite revenue for little to no work

You realize people won't pay for a game before they play right? you lose thousands of dollars by being a dick about it. Personally i support games when i can after having played them for a while and seeing that the dev works hard and puts in the effort. pay walling half the content in a demo is wild...

Again guy, it's fair to ignore, criticize or advise, but ya'll are going out of your way to accuse devs of stuff they ain't done.
They weren't being a dick by saying they don't like how stuff is done. They haven't characterized this as a demo, plus it isn't their first game and the content seems more sizeable than a reg demo. Lastly, your first point is just flat nothing to do with since what they tried to do is precisely give a taste before we pay.
All you can say is the part about you being used to devs giving a bunch free full first releases before hoping for payment.. some actually do this then enforce rather than just hope, but it not dicky not to follow the common protocol.
Also weird I don't remember the Naruto guys getting this much flack, it was more elegant bein Renpy and all but kinda same thing.. Was kinda annoying there actually cause they seemed to imply the scene were also longer with the premium but i'm not sure that's the case...

It's the developers prerogative on how they want to handle their distribution. But in part I kind of agree. One of the reasons I don't pay up front is because 99% of these projects die unfinished. If a game gets to finals, and it's good, I'll be happy to toss in 10 bucks to a dev. And granted the paetron people I give a hat tip too, and the developer should too, but it's just ridiculous funding a passion project for months or years, to the tune of 5-10 bucks a month, and spending what you'd spend more on a short game than what you would on a triple A title.
