I might have to unwatch this thread. the amount of times someone asks about the game not working after the launcher is absurd. it was literally answered TWICE on the page before. at least try people...
If everyone is asking the same Qs it's time to change the instructions.

As Monosomething said, put the MIG front and center. Then, no more Qs.

HERE i have finally finished a brand new manager module that i think is going to open a lot of new opportunities :D

@TogglesAndTalents manager module

This module lets you combine the key functions of as many modules as you want into a single button and a cycle menu! You can also use this module to set up a toggle on off feature or deactivation feature for any module you have

just requires adding the modules to a set a global list strings.

ive included a demonstration version and writeup as well that may make it easier to understand the use and setup and to see it in action for yourself before you start adding it to your current classes :) Let me know if you think it needs any clarification !

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the solution to that problem (in 99.9% of cases) is on the page you download the game from and the majority of the people, perhaps even as high as 90% who have that question also follow the installation guide which also contains the solution. Of course, anyone who only looks at the OP of this thread is fucked because that removes the original source from the chain and the post itself has instructions for AA2Mini which hasn't been relevant for close to 5 years.

hi anyone got any ideas for how to fix this visual bug? it's way worse when I'm not screen recording for some reason if that means anything, had to try and get the game a little busy to even capture it. usually it's spazzing all over the models when talking to them, starting small and then getting worse over time until the game crashes.

it only happens when I use win10fix, but the game doesn't start unless I use it.

I've tried wined3d but that slows performance to a crawl and when the game gets too busy it'll also crash.

I've used both options with and without 2d rendering and SVP, individually and together.

would appreciate any help, at my wits end and I'm afraid of screwing up any graphical stuff if I try anything else. :(

Looks like artifacting. If the game doesn't start without win10fix, though, there is something very seriously wrong with your computer. That's the one situation where it should always start without issues. (The bad performance isn't an "issue" because that's directx9 safe mode working as intended.)

Yeah, i was going to say it looks like his graphics card was gonna give up the ghost soon. Good thing you confirmed that.

Why is censored the default? And more importantly, Where is the uncensored toggle?

For several evenings I have been trying to attach the pregnancy module to the cards. I created four sets (naming them preguniform.cloth, pregsport, etc) of clothes from "tot preg pack" and assigned them to a new pregnant1 style. Everything is according to the guide. I check several times that the new and (default) styles show the clothes correctly and save the card changes. Immediately I open this card again in AAU and see that the default style ALSO changes to pregnancy clothes, every fucking time. Other modules and styles in the downloaded cards seem to work without any issues. Am I doing something wrong?

No, styles are buggy. If you add any extra styles to a card you have to always redo the outfits on the default style before you save that card because otherwise the inherent (a hidden) style will be messed up on save. Always add all 4 outfits to the default style before saving a card with styles.

yeah i ran into this a lot making the upgraded preg module.
The process ive worked out now, i have a folder where i save cards with their default outfits already setup for a single style I want, including the default style.
then in aa2edit I set up like this:

name new style named "blah" and in the bottom window select that style, and make sure ALL check boxes on the left are checked, then Load button right above bottom style window, select the card that had default clothing sets you want for that style, and make sure ALL check boxes on the left are checked

this will effectively load the whole character clothing onto the "blah" style. you then select the blah style in the Top window, and the Default style in the Bottom window, and click the Transfer style button. This will load the data into the default style.

I do this to ensure the default style is actually loaded with info properly (its often Not loaded with the aau data).

If I am going to add other styles to the card, I do the same process (load from a separate card onto the Blah slot) and Then transfer from the blah slot to the new style created (like pregnant1 or pregnant2 etc etc)

and then ill do the Default style last just to make sure.

swap around outfits on the right panel to make sure it worked (this will not work on males, males in the editor have no slot stage value so clothes dont show, which is a real pain in the ass. you can i think use the poser to look at clothes though )

I do this process because it helps keep things like overrides and redirects for each style separate as well (which is important for the pregnant style since you need to use a Redirect to make the naked outfit actually pregnant)

I also do this because i find it convenient to make a ton of outfit styles for a single character by loading a bunch of clones of that card into a single class file. then i can just change outfits in the game freely if i want (more complex once you start adding overrides though). and when im ready I just open QTedit and export the cards with the outfits for the styles i need to add to the "Real" card.

Of course, I tried to manually assign sets for the default style. I also created a third style as you suggested. I loaded the uniforms into it from the card backup, but the ▾Transfer▾ button simply does not work; the button does not give that half second delay indicating that changes are being made, it simply does nothing. In addition, customized textures on clothes are often reset to the default one-color ones, sometimes the entire palette of outfits is completely changed to the basic white and blue.
In any case, I'm tired of wasting time on all this crap that I will delete in a couple of days anyway. But thanks for the help and advice, guys. le fail.png

It works fine, I don't usually use that feature but I just tried it. Top list is the style you want, bottom list is where you want it. No clue if transfer actually hits the inherent style, which is the problem but it certainly replaces the style you have selected in the bottom box with the one in the top box. In your case, whatever's in the default style replaces the contents of the style called boop.

So... ive got a request not for one, but for two modules. One of those should be easy to piece together, while the other not.



1st. Ive already got a name for this non-existent module: "Slut-self consciousness". (NPC only)

Whats it about? Simple - disallow an NPC to accept lover requests and issue them. If they get offered to become lovers - they should always reject it. If they want to offer a request - the interaction should be twisted to a love confession instead.

"But, wait!" someone will say, "there already is a module like that! Its called "Indifferent".

There is. Ive tested it, and it failed every single time. Its garbage (feel free to remove it from your list of modules).


2nd. The difficult one, but having one thing in mind - to give fights a meaning, other than ruining relations. (PC only)

So how would it work? It is a continuation of a thought ive had some time ago - "why cant you order someone to ignore another NPC, and enforce it with a beating?". Thats what its all about - heres how i see it working:

You walk up to an NPC and tell them to ignore X. They will refuse on the first attempt. You order them to do it again - if they refuse a second time, a fight ensues, and if the PC wins - the NPC ignores the specified target for a day (just like the regular forcing action).

Why not do the whole beating thing on the first attempt? Because an exploitable character always agrees to this command on the second attempt. Non-exploitable one will never accept it - its to prevent "innocents" from getting free beatings.

So, "wheres the difficult part?" one of the module savvy folks will ask? This interaction normally establishes the "Bully-victim" relationship, making the NPC on the receiving end become susceptible to further abuse... and we want to avoid that. The less intrusive purple statuses in the game, the better.

By the way, ive noticed some funny abnormalities with your condom control module.
Namely - you know the "Lets have sex!" call out, right? If i used this call out, and my girl approached me - we would go at it raw, but if some other NPC used the call out, and both me and my girl accepted - she would force a condom on me (risky days on both occasions, and she didnt have 'no condom', 'likes creampies' preferences OR the asexual trait).

Another abnormality is the one time ive coaxed my girl into h-study. Got her turned on, asked to go home and study... and she forced a condom on me! That kinda threw me off, since i wasnt expecting her to force a condom in these conditions (as in: me asking) but it happened.

Not telling you to "fix your shit!". Just informing you.

0% on all interactions. All mentions of this on the internet point to it being related to the locale issue, but that's obviously not a problem here. This modded version needs no locale to be set or emulated, or so it seems... Tried it anyway and the game became an even greater mess, no characters appeared whatsoever, including the player.

Edit: managed to make it work. System locale was already set to Japan, just switched it to somewhere else and it worked.

unfortunately thats just the games core programming. the only thing my module does is toggle the Condom setting in the menu :/

the ▾Transfer▾ button simply does not work
oh sorry mate i think i described it wrong. notice on the transfer button is two down arrows, the transfer is from the top window to the bottom window, so you want the blah selected in the top window and the Default selected in the bottom, then click transfer itll transfer blah onto default

but the Load button applies directly to the selection in the bottom window
