VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Cutie & Her Uncle [v1.1.0] [Freakbunny]

Ugly MC, too short, horrible ending. I'm not expecting Shakespeare, but it goes off the rails and doesn't even resolve the corruption. It feels like something that was started while sober and finished while tripping on acid.

two stars because the niece looks nice. A concession that would probably bother the dev since after playing this game i'm supposed to be searching my soul about wacking off to a game about an uncle fucking his neice.

Tried it myself. The fourth wall breaking is rather unsubtle and practically false advertisement as your choices don't matter. Scenes are pretty mediocre, but the models look good.
Honestly, the biggest sin is the fact the game manages to be 700mb while being at best 15 minutes of game. That, and the fact the girl's father shoots the MC with a flintlock pistol, which happens no matter what because you don't get the choice.
All in all, it had potential, but the delivery fell flat.

i actually think this is a very well made the graphics and girl are great and the plot is interesting with weird stuff in the end....THE PROBLEM is that it's short and worst of all not much freedom it goes exactly one way and only like 3 sex scenes which is sad but it is ok if you want a moral kick outside of that ok for a try but nothing special would be better with more content and actual branching paths.

On the surface, this is a game about a sleazy uncle corrupting his 'cutie' of a niece. Under the surface, there is a deep and thought provoking narrative using horror and metafiction effectively.

On the surface, this was a great game to play.

Until those bits of horror peaked through. Listen, I didn't come here to play the Monster Mash.

But for what it's worth, every model looks great, the sound design and music are both fantastic, this was professionally made by someone who knew what they were doing. So on those merits it should be commended and complimented, just like a cutie niece being commended and complimented by her sleazy uncle.

But you know why you're here. This game wants to interrupt you in the middle of something good, in order to show you something 'spooky'. So, be forewarned.

Haven't gotten to play the game because I spent the last half hour trying to get this thing to run on mac when it's missing half the executable files. Really shouldn't list a game as running on mac when you clearly haven't found a way to do that.

Reading through the VN... the game does not present what it is advertised as. You sure this is a completed game?

One other thing - there is no point giving 'branching paths' that don't actually branch anywhere. It just adds pointless time searching for things that don't exist, which in turn makes the players more than a little peeved that you are wasting their time.

Renders are lovely though.

And full of anti-climactic shit, like long ridiculous conversations about nothing at all, and injected (horror?) stories drawn like by a 4-year old (for effect, I guess)
Not that there was a climax in the first place anyways...

Dev seems like a sweet guy who tried to be understanding and explain his thoughts behind the game.
But then we get to the game itself. It feels like a complete scam. It starts out good. Until it takes an extremely sharp turn of events, instead of the promised "corruption.

You don't get to corrupt her in slightest. She snitches on you and you die. Sorry for the spoiler but trust me, you're going to save time. There's max 4 scenes with nsfw content and ten times as much text.
No matter what you attempt, you can't change the outcome. You'll either fuck her and die. Or attempt let her go, later get a blowjob and then die.
It could've been a phycological horror of sorts if dev wanted to. Slowly exploring mind of a young adult that's being turned into someone's property. All the while balancing her actual family/school life.
Then at the very end, you can kill off the character. Then people wouldn't complain because they got a dark story with a dark ending that MC surely deserved.
So yeah, maybe don't describe the game the way it is. Don't mislead people and your game would be better.

tl;dr- if you like lessons in love, this is a condensed version of that with better visuals.

I felt like there should be at least one review that actually talks about how this is as a "horror game" beyond the bait and switch. I do think it deserves a lower score when that is considered, but as a horror porn game, I'd say its a 3 star.

The thing about that, is that if you're going to swerve your audience like this, especially to moralize at them, then you need to be sure that you have a strong and thought-provoking moral.

This game pivots halfway to tell you that raping your underage relatives is bad, and that its weird how its legally ok to jerk off to an 18 year old and not a 17 year old. These are not revelatory ideas, most of your audience understands these basic concepts of morality/legality and it comes off as overly preachy. It would be like if you bought GTAV and after an hour it became a terrifying, gory, jump-scared psychological first person horrror game that kept shouting "STEALING CARS IS ILLEGAL" at you. It's not enough to justify the betrayal of expectations.

That said, the presentation and effort and atmosphere here is 10/10. The visuals are truly disturbing and well-crafted. Especially when compared to Lessons in Love, which coasts on shitty UI, recycled KK animations, and just puts a bunch of scribbles and smiley faces on screen to be "scary" and has just as equally inane of a moral (dont rape your students), but is very succesful because it was clear what it was, and its' audience knew what it was getting into.

If the dev's next project is more up-front about its horror content, and goes for a more subtle underlying theme, I think they'd really knock it out of the park. There's a lot of talent here. If you like horror games, it's worth a quick playthrough.

The game is not bad, people. You MUST read the WHOLE description, check ALL the tags and EVERY screenshot attached BEFORE downloading a game and play it.

I personally enjoyed the creepy atmosphere and the psychological aspect of the story and the characters, it's a fresh approach to all the games around here, especially for the incest/raping genres.
The sound aspect could use an improvement, and the overall experience is extremely short, only two (really good) sex scenes for the amount of dialog in between them is a huge con. There's not even a replay option to, at least, see those scenes again without going through the whole thing again.

I see this game a really cool proof of concept, but you'll find tons of 0.01 alphas and first-release demos from other games with way more content than this "completed" game.

In the end, I do recommend you to download it and give it a try if the content is of your liking, but be aware that, even when its +720 MB in size, these are mere crumbs instead of a full loaf.

This is not Cohabitation. Bait and switch description. There is no choice which allows you to avoid being shot by her dad. Includes some weird, mental masturbatory scenes by the dev moralizing(?) or whatever. Ends with an ad for another of the dev's games. MC is a 15yo's image of a 50yo, IOW, he looks 100yo

Aside from all that, the very few erotic scenes included were quite good. That's the only reason this is 2 stars instead of 1. I'm actually disappointed the dev was just trolling. If not for the deception, I might have been tempted to check out their other projects because they clearly have some skill in setting up, writing, and animating a satisfying erotic scene, but I don't feel like I can trust them

downloaded it before the horror tag and boy was that was a mistake. too short not enough scenes hell it feels like there is only two scenes for a 700 mb "game". it a good way to waste half an hour even less if you just skip thorugh all of it (p.s just skip to the scenes nothing matters anyways)

Really good writing. The dev clearly knows how to use words which makes this the strength of the game.
Fair warning to people expecting a "vanilla corruption" game; that is not what this is. It is clearly non-con, but it's done in a very unique way making it an excellent read.

The game is just to advertise another game. At the end you will lead to another game.

The girls looks hot but thats all. Corrupting? Not really. On the first scene you will fuck her and thats all. Story? Not really. You grope and fuck and say her, if she tell it her daddy he will get mad. ZzZzZz, boring.

Dont know where the 700 MB coming from but the game is so short it should be 100 MB. Not worth.

What is there to say about this... The art style is alright, I've seen much worse. The dialogue is fairly terrible. Any sane girl would have run away after he kissed her the first time. There was no build up or seduction. Your choices don't really matter much at all. You're locked into one path from the start and it ends the same way. So what conclusion does that lead me to: This is basically a snuff game with a little sex to lure people into it. There's absolutely nothing sexy about it.

The game offers the premise of corrupting a nice looking niece, but trust me that facade lasts only a short bit. There are perhaps 3 sexual scenes, and the rest is a fairly poor drama/attempt at shock humor. It also has some frankly messed up imagery that I would put akin to a high schooler trying to write a horror flick. Coming off as more angsty and petty than effective in any regard.

In short; the game pulls a bait and switch on the premise and the writing could use a lot of work to not seem weak.

Cute game all in all. Very short, and mildly meta. Meta aspects only work 'okay' as you need relatively strong investment in surface layer for those tricks to work, and this VN is too short for that. Visuals are solid, pacing is a bit odd but I enjoyed the scattered approach.
