Abducted is a woman-only game. At this moment there are no male characters. There is also no protagonist: you, as a player, aren't a character in the game; you're just kind of a viewer. But as a viewer you can influence the game: the women in the game have to react to situations and to questions. You have to answer for them. In this way you can influence the game. Interesting. Another no-protagonist/multiple protagonist game, where the player influence characters in the game, rather than having 'total' agency.

Will play it out later. The renders look nice. The overview hinted that this game will be narrative heavy like those horror-thriller movies but with porn elements to it.

BRUH. Why did you put an automatic app close at the end, when there's not even any real sexual content yet.

I re-opened it 3 times to look at the few other choices that were there before getting sick of accidentally holding control until the game just closes itself.

Explain the development choice behind that as opposed to the default of just going back to the main menu?

Also, it seems like there's gonna be a hard sadism route judging by some of the girls responses, can you clearly mark those choices in red text or something once you get far enough along in development so people like me who are super into this, but only to a point, don't need to go messing with 40 save files to explore all the choices without accidentally going down a wrong path.

Yes, there is going to be a lot of sadism and bdsm routes. And the player will be warned when I consider some pictures (or paths) too hard. I personally like playing games with a lot of different routes (Karlsson's Gambit for example), and thus having a lot of save files. I don't think there will be a 'wrong' path. Oh you can see them, but in character. A lot of people like me skip through a lot of the dialogue, only getting a vague idea of the story until after we're pulled in by something. Cause VN's are a niche genre, but the majority of adult games that aren't terribly made, or using something like unity with what look like 3d versions of flash models. (Nothing funnier than a "sex" scene where the models don't quite line up, so the dick is just thrusting back and forth 3 inches under the partner.)
Something as simple as an early-game parenthesis description of the character and their fetishes (Ignore my inability to remember names properly.) [Olke: Likes, Bondage, light pain, humiliation.] [Alice: Likes, torture, obedience, sadism.] is an easy and convenient way to clue a player like me into which route to pursue, since we're sort of tossing a coin to see which routes we follow and hoping we picked one that pulls us into the story/setting and not one that goes way off the course. (Nothing worse than games that have, for instance, piss-dom content that you think you're about to get and then hey, scat! Or rough sex and then suddenly hey, someone's getting fuckin stabbed.)

And yes, I also like a lot of different routes, but I also don't want to have to re-play an entire game to experience them.
If you intend to have "hard" paths. (Opts you out of others) at the least, indicate when you're about to close a path. Personally I prefer something like harem hotel, where all the storylines are both connected, but not totally tied together, you can just focus on the girls you like and occasionally ctrl through another one... Of course then you do a me and get attached to Kali, then Ashley, then wind up replaying the entire game and spending 5 hours reading a VN...
Depending on how you plan to do it, maybe give some sort of in-game indication of what ties to what, for instance I was playing take over last night and got very confused trying to trigger an event, until I realised the game wasn't triggering it because it was literally telling me to go somewhere else first, which was my error, but I wasn't expecting it because so many games will just not trigger the event, but loop the starting phase, expecting you to go figure out the pre-requisite triggers first.


Anyway, ignore me if you aren't interested. I realised I might have seemed like I was being negative, because I usually am when it comes to bad development choices, but the auto-close out thing seems more like a lack of familiarity, so here's my opinions, as someone who plays way too many games, hentai games, and has far too many opinions on game design in general. Good luck! Hoping it turns out well and doesn't wind up in the ever-growing graveyard of lezdom games with an [ABANDONED] tag after version 0.0.3

Maybe I am wrong about this, but "protagonist" doesn't mean "the reader" or "the player." It refers to the main character who the story is written around. If there are multiple characters who each get equal spotlight, then that story has multiple protagonists. This game should still get a "multiple protagonist" and a "female protagonist" tag, regardless of the perspective (1st person, 2nd person, 3rd person). People use protagonist tags (at least I do) to look for specific types of games that they like, and avoid games they don't like. I personally don't care for lesbian scenes. If a game has them in it, but it still has male interaction, I will still play the game. But, if it is solely women, I don't care to play it. Having these tags would help me avoid this stuff. And, this isn't just a "I don't like it, so you should cater to my personal wants" comment. This is just a comment usage and definition. Do what y'all do. Have fun. Good luck.

Thanks for your extended answer. I really appreciate that. First: it's a pity you don't read the text. I think it's sometimes really funny. I did put a lot of effort in it. Second: I'll take your comment about closing paths into account in the next versions. I think that maybe in general players should be helped more when they have to make a choice. Most of the choices you make as a player will have consequences much later in the game. For instance: certain choices you make de/increase the 'strength' of the group (abducted, abductors, hunters) and/or the character. That strength will be taken in account later.

I don't think I'm alone in playing these kinds of games looking for particular scenes/fetishes and/or exploring to find any and all content that we might enjoy. Having the end of version dump us clean out of the game rather than back to the main menu is pretty frustrating. At least make it so that skip will dump us at the last screen instead of just closing the game on us before we can react.
