Found the issue. I was using Gallery/walkthrough mod and when I loaded up on unmodded game Blackfire was back in her cell. I reported the issue to mod thread
I had the same issue with the gallery mod, I just remove it and Blackfire was there normally, I couldn't even find her on the cell when I had the mod

in terms of content, is it worth playing it now? or wait for more updates? im curious in your playthroughs since FET is almost done and im planning to jump here

Several hours of content and lots of scenes.
Every update seems to end on a cliffhanger though.

nope but it's best to wait for 1.6.0, the next release as the game will be a smoother experience without any game breaking bugs (which the bug hunters found) and it'll be released in a couple days
