if you consult the README.txt file provided with the game, it says save data is stored at
Windows C:\Users\<user>\AppData\LocalLow\cultparthia\1room
MacOS /Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/cultparthia/1room

I find this funny, I just finished making up my own cheat engine file for 1 Room.
Will give yours a try.

Well I tried the other cheat engine tool and well, I prefer mine.
Here's the one I made up in case anyone is interested.

You need to change language from the Title screen, ie home screen.
When you first start the game, or if you click the bottom left button that is "Back to Title".
If you try to click it while playing the game , as in while interacting with Yuu, the option is blocked to change languages.
Basic setting is chinese, so heres a couple more screen shots of what to do in chinese.
Set one, best to shut down the game a reload the game again, because the language option can only be changed one ech time the game is loaded.
Please follow the yellow arrow's I have set up for you.
Click on Options
Now, click here.
Now you can change to English, or whatever language you wish from the list.
After choosing, click right mouse button to exit options menu.

I come bringing good news for you.
If your phone is good enough, you can play it on an emulator.
No such folder on my setup for the Mac version. Sucks for me because I just moved machines and was on day 32 on my old one.
