Eh, is ok, but a little too much internal narration. Little more show than tell. Not littered with a bunch of 'Engrish' so that is a definite plus so far.

Voyeurism tag... because our MC sees a girl showering or something like that, or the MC sees other people fucking? The difference between these two things is important. And even more so if it's kinetic, meaning you can't decide anything.

I've played this, and when I have little positive to say, I prefer not to say anything. The developer is an user of this forum, and his motivation for creating a game is Max's Life. I hope my comment helps him improve in the future.

- Very basic story that doesn't stand out in any way.
- Kinetic novel.
- Captain save a hoe.
- HS1. Seriously? Why not at least HS2?
- The developer acknowledges his issues rendering and programming in Ren'Py and HS1. I say this from experience in both cases: it's not difficult. You just need to dedicate some time to both programs, something the developer hasn’t done.
- Everything is very basic or standard. Poses, scenes, animations, UI...

I could go on, but I think this is enough. I have played games much, much better than this one in everything that have failed for a number of factors. I don't see much future for this game. If you want to develop your game as a "passion project", go ahead. But if you expect to get success and money as a game developer, you're not going to get it with this game as it is.

Maybe in the future it will happen in both cases; it depends on how the story develops. For now MC sees only one woman...the tag mentioned this, so I included it, but I don’t rule out that more could happen in the future.

I'm sorry the game didn't meet your expectations. I'm currently giving my best with the skills and resources I have. I appreciate your feedback and will take it into account to try to improve in the future. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. P.S. Actually, I prefer HS1 much more.

These are quick renders by default using a random character card, without using presets, without working with lights, lighting, post-processing, etc., on my potato work computer using an HS2 plugin. The first image is a regular screenshot, the second one, without menus, is rendered. Although the images can be greatly improved (I didn’t want to make a high-quality image), the difference between HS1 and HS2 is HUGE.

This I have to agree. Not only is the difference big b/w HS2 and HS1, nowadays with the suite of mods and shaders bring renders to de facto HS3, even out of the box HS2 is behind times. It's generally not a good idea to start a game in 2025 two generations behind unless you really have something exceedingly good elsewhere that makes people overlook the obvious obsolescence.

Idk even in 2025 I still VASTLY prefer HS1/2 over DAZ or Koikatsu (considering its getting old too :/), just feel like its more unique and appealing (aside from the SAME THREE VARIATIONS of a main character people use). Characters are a mix between realism and anime, where Daz goes too far one way, and Koikatsu too far the other way. I've played alot of VN's and even work on my own and idk. Koikatsu especially is just so... bland to me. DAZ is great if you have the skills for it, but in alot of works you'll find a ton of jank and reused assets, where HS2 I feel like people can get away with making something passably different even if they reuse things (outside the MC again, lmfao). I welcome all HS avns though, I'm definitely biased on that front. I may fool around just to see what I can do with like DAZ/Koi but definitely lean hard into hs2.

As above comment states though, I would definitely work your way into HS2, HS1 has its perks for sure, but HS2 is just monumentally superior and will be overall cleaner than HS1. I used to feel this way with photoshop but eventually just gave in and updated to the new photoshop because the accessibility and features just far outweighed everything I was stubbornly trying to achieve the old fashioned way. :KEK:

It's hard to compare HS1/2 with Daz and Koikatsu as these are completely different art styles and as with anything to do with art, it boils down pretty much to individual preference. Personally I also prefer HS style as well as I find Daz character designs often look very rugged and rough, but Daz is much more popular for sure as can be seen in the number of games.

For HS1 vs HS2 though, I believe the comparison is more apple to apple. HS2 alone technically is already more superior to HS1 and when combined with mods and a strong shader like NG3, there is simply no way HS1 can match. I wouldn't discount there might be some niche players who prefer the older look just like vintage cars has its own collectors, but I really don't recommend a normal developer start out with something so old, the chances of success are much diminished.
