Game is broken, dev didn't implement any resolution changes so on 4K+ displays it scales really small. I can't help you fix the scaling issue to make it larger, but you can get rid of that huge border by deleting the registry keys/subkeys for the game at:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\DefaultCompany\30 days left until the exam

This is where all the parameters for fullscreen and game resolution are stored, so if someone smarter than me can figure out how to edit the registry entries to enable 4k please do.
