I'm a bit baffled by the massive personality changes in the MC, is there a reason he goes from one extreme to the other? Nervous and childish to rapist in the next scene. Not enjoying the complete lack of any kind of meaningful control and the really confused dialogue. Throughout there's moments that just make no sense, the talk about shitting herself during the scene with Emma and other weird moments like we're going to be naked as a power move, just make no sense. Why is that there?

And in the Asami sceneno means no, repeatedly pushing someone for sex when they say no is rapey, and not being able to choose is a weird thing to be playing and totally removes any sense of sympathy with the MC.
???

The personality shifts have a reason that’s made pretty clear in the game. Not getting why is just a sign you’re not paying attention... The "Megan" effect.
Same thing happens with that other part, the whole forced situations thing... First, MC doesn’t have sex with Asami. Either way, MC gives her plenty of chances to back off. She went up to the second floor on her own, to the bathroom, nobody forced her. She agrees to everything after that even with MC pointing out that she could’ve left at any moment, or even attacked him (Asami could easily wreck his balls anytime, she’s a skilled fighter). Same with Megan (sex). She stays in the bathroom even though she could’ve walked out, later MC asks if she wants to leave and nothing happens, no hard feelings... and she stays.

Anyway, in version 0.5.6 there’s a scene from another route that clearly shows Asami never had the guts to do that kind of stuff just because of fear or embarrassment. But deep down she’s always wanted to try... That’s why she never leaves the bathroom and never really opposes MC at any point.
Sometimes it’s hard to understand some things when you only see part of the story... especially when you’re not paying much attention to that part of the story xD

Yep, in real life, in a real context no means no. And this is a game, and in the circumstances inside the game a No is worth as much as the person it’s said to... it can mean a lot or it can mean nothing. You’re seeing what MC, a good guy, can do in some circumstances.
Maybe this game isn’t for you, because this is just the beginning...

Playing this update reminded me of something that wasn't a good decision: adding a character with the power of visions and predicting the future. Can you imagine being in a life-or-death game where your actions and decisions can make you live or die, and your team has someone with that power? Someone who knows who will live and who will die, someone who knows which decisions to make and which not to make? You practically have victory guaranteed with a character like that. That's incredibly overpowered, and for me, it was bad because it removes all the unpredictability from the game, all the tension, all the feeling that they are in danger. It's like playing with a hack. The character even says she won't interfere anymore, that the visions are over, etc., but is that really true? If the protagonist is in danger, or one of these girls is in danger, will she keep her word? I don't know, we'll see. What I expect from this game is that it surprises me, that something happens that makes me say, "Wow, I didn't expect that." I want to see a deadly game where one decision can lead to life or death.
She couldn’t stop MC’s death... Yep, MC can die if you make a bad choice... I think that says everything. That update where MC can die is the same one where she shows up for the first time.
Are you guys actually playing this? :HideThePain:

It’s kinda funny you say that because this was written way before I even started learning how to use DAZ.
It’s up to you if you wanna believe it or not, same as it’s up to each person to like a certain narrative style or not. I already said why the beginning had to be slow and I’m not gonna repeat it over and over again. Same as I’ve also said (even today) why that MC "bipolarity" happens and I’m not repeating that either.
But what I really think is worth pointing out is that you believe the plot is "basic"...
You don’t even know what this is really about because I’m the only one who knows. You’re just seeing a tiny piece of the story and you’re talking like this was a whole movie, when you’re actually watching the first episode of a ten episode series.
My way of writing isn’t linear, if you follow just one path and never check what’s on the others it’s possible you’ll miss a lot of things. And from what I’ve seen with other people, even playing everything they might still not notice.
Did you realize Rachel is hiding something? Did you notice Mother let Linda die on purpose after saving her because she’s got other plans that she hasn’t even revealed to MC in the conversation they had?
My Patrons helped design Linda in a pretty long process and I even told them that Linda is one of the most important characters in this story... You think that was for nothing?

Sadly I can’t say more... And yeah, I’m stepping away again for a while before my head starts hurting.

I can understand the unstable personality of the MC, given how he absorbs abilities (in TV shows) there can also be a mental change too and given how Megan's ability works that definitely won't help; hopefully his rather obnoxious Alpha Male personality dies down... don't want him becoming like Ronald. With such a mixture of different genres, this is an interesting game, it will be great to see some action between the fellas cos it's gotta happen eventually and given how Ronald won previously, he has an advantage.
