Edit: just to be clear I was referring to the help topic I posted on the DAZ site rofl sorry; 12 hours down the fucking drain yesterday and no logical conclusion to it, and I was so happy with the animation I made :-s

I have checked that I don't surpass the 8GB VRAM I have on my RTX3070(otherwise it would normally not let me switch to Iray in the viewport anyway)

I do not feel that Iray in viewport can be valuable indicator of capable vram memory for the scene.

Since I started to do more complicated renders ( static) I started encountering memory problems in DaZ. But I was always able to see Iray preview in viewport. People from Daz slackers on Discord have similar issues and could see on viwport as well.
I am no expert but considering how detailed your works are it must be momory fail.

I ve noticed also that internet browsers use to eat a lot of memory sometimes so maybe watching you tube during rendering isnt good idea.

When I surpass the limit, it won't switch to iRay at all for me. Then it is just white textures. But you are right, apparently it was VRAM as they suggested; but I do not understand why it could render frames 1-7 and not 8 which is the same entirely.

Omfg, I am so stupid I just found a huge resource for VRAM right in front of me. I was running Windows 10 in 4K xD it just automatically sets it that way when you install and never thought about it. Now everything has just sped up and is rendering fine. Suddenly DAZ renders 20 frames in 10 minutes where it is usually double or triple that -.- I have also switched to the Studio driver instead of the game ready driver from NVIDIA which probably also helps.

Omfg. How much VRAM did Windows eat up in 4K!? Before I set the resolution to 2K, I was limited to two people in an environment with very few light sources (2-4). Now I can mash 5 people in there with 10 light sources and Raytracing! xD All 5 people are with grafts; but no clothes so far. On top of that I dialed every character down to Subd level 1 in rendering and saved the scene... I then reopened and started rendering... then found some errors and wanted to correct them... while in that process I also found out that all characters reverted to subd level 2 and I can STILL render xD that is just ridiculous and I have not halved textures or anything. I was sure I would be forced to do that.

Yeah, all the ones I use are pretty malleable and seem to do exactly what they are told, but as long as they get to empty themselves in a young woman, I don't think they can complain. If for some reason we are wrong about consciousness, and somewhere someone does in fact experience this, I think I am in big trouble rofl

I already poked Meipe, the one who created the horse penuz for DAZ horse 2, if he/she/it has intentions of making one for DAZ horse 3 but he/she/it hasn't responded yet. The cock-o-rama equine one, used above, is okay, but it doesn't look THAT realistic. Plus no balls. The balls on the images are just static ones which comes with the horse.
