The Sasha shit makes no sense if you chose to shoot the blondie in her head because of the scratch marks. Why in the fuck would he feel comfortable sleeping around a ticking timebomb, potentially risking his sisters life? And why can't we release Rhea despite officer commands?

It was extremely forced and made no sense to be honest. On top of that, why the FUCK would he walk right up to an infected (ie; Sasha) to try and glory kill her? He was in the military and there was a clear shot from the side, he could've easily head shotted her from a distance in the middle of her talking to Virginia. It's obvious the dev just wanted to kill off the 2 officers and make the gangbanger (Rhea) somehow seem 10x more competent than our ex-military MC, he should've just had the horde overwhelm the officers instead.

Why did they even go to the mall for anyways? The military literally said they're not going there, they should've just exited from where the military came from and/or headed out with them.

Hopefully there aren't anymore dumbass moments like this, it'd be a stain on an otherwise pretty intriguing game.

As the comment above points out, two things really took me out of the prologue a bit :
- Rhea being like incredibly hostile and focusing on scratch marks on her bike and a bunch of other nonsense in the middle of a fucking zombie apolocalypse, literaly shouting in the middle of an infested city of milions while unarmed and chained
- The whole Sasha situation which is detailed above, won't repeat it here

Aside from that, it's really really really fucking good for a prologue, probably the best intro to a VN in terms of what the dev has shown himself capable of that I've ever seen.

But yeah, can't keep having those moronic situations. I get it, it's a VN, sometimes you need a bit of suspension of disbelief, but if you're gonna go far into making the apocalypse believable, give us high stakes, make it seem like death looms at every corner and stuff... you gotta commit. Give us sensical characters.

Still an easy 5/5 as I wrote in my review, can't recommend enough.
Hope the dev recovers from all the trouble he seems to be having, this could be one of the greatest game out there and I'm all for it.

I had more time to think about it, and I hate it now ngl. Left a review, but the gist of it is that the military background shit needs to be deleted from the game. It adds nothing and is meaningless given the MC's incompetence. It'd actually make things tolerable if he's never seen combat before, because why can't a veteran who's been in a combat zone shoot from a distance?

Remove his military background, have the girl who got raped be eaten alive by the zombie instead of us killing her, and then him bunking up with a clearly infected Sasha and co. makes sense. He's a civilian, and these are trained cops who could protect him and his sister. Cool. Have him shoot at Sasha from afar, miss, and she goes on rampage. Okay cool, our MC isn't experienced so it makes sense he'd miss that shot.

Those small changes would take less than 3 hours to make and it'd elevate the storytelling a LOT. As long as the MC got progressively more competent over time it'd make for some great story telling arcs.

The whole mall thing falls flat on it's face aswell since the Military came in, cleared out a bunch of zombies, and then when asked about the mall they said they weren't going there. The obvious thing to do would be hitching a ride to the exit with military personnel, but instead they went to the mall anyways. Game maker could have ATLEAST given a good reason to do so. Could have easily had Sasha and the other cop briefly get in contact with the survivors there and deviate that way to save them with the kind hearts they have. Still a dummy decision, and we should be allowed a choice to split from the group and leave with the military, but atleast the plot would make sense.

I can't disagree with this. I really couldn't see him as a combat veteran with the mistakes he was making.

Ah yes, the old failed hard drive... we haven't seen that one before 500x...
The Adult VN industry is dying out to be honest, I remember a time where the front page of F95 was riddled with promising games, but now it's actually a struggle to find anything worth playing. My entire desktop was filled with good ass games at one point, now it's just me waiting on the better ones to get an update every six months.

This game falls short with it's execution, but the starting rape scene set a grim tone that most games won't. That alone was enough to draw me in. Buy yeah, there are way too many devs that don't want to work, I mean how hard is it to drop an update without delaying it because of a "power outage" caused by a "hurricane" (Sixth one of the year)? Just a bummer.

Honestly, it's not just AVNs it's the entire gaming industry. AAA has the same rot but much worse. Studios used to ship finished games with passion and pride now it's half-baked releases, liveservice milking, day one patches, and "wait six months for it to be playable."

The goodwill between devs and players is basically gone. It's no longer about making something great it's about money first, ideology second, and control/censorship sprinkled on top. Fans are treated like wallets or problems to manage, not people to respect.

That same pattern is showing up more and more with AVNs. Too many excuses, endless delays, and little to no accountability. If you can't update consistently, just say so don't insult people's intelligence.

At this point, the only real way anything changes is voting with our wallets. Stop rewarding excuses, broken launches, and endless delays. Support the devs who actually deliver, and let the rest feel the consequences
