Be aware, I'm writing review for remake version of the game and the only objective part is on the far bottom of the text. The top part is full of my rambling.
This is the first time I feel something like this. In one hand, I feel the H-scenes are super hot. In other hand, I feel sad when watching the entire scenes. No, it's not because I'm gay. I got boner, mind you! But there's also uneasy feeling. It somehow stings. Maybe because I know all of the characters were turbo sluts to begin with? And even though you get laid in the end (by premium named pussies on top of that), it's not the best feeling in the world (at least from my perspective). Or maybe because I seek for proper human to human relationship, instead they treat you as replaceable tool in this one?
Anyway in my opinion the game's trying so hard to make the situation looks erotic, but even with all the effort the context still overshadow that supposed to be erotic situation. In results, it will look less appealing for those who doesn't like rapey stuff. Funny, considering this is the first time I feel something like this, I don't mind playing femdom h-game before, some were even straight-up unhinged. But at least the context weren't as realistic as this one. I mean to make it simple, you need to be insanely horny to be able to jerk off to Metamorphosis right? No matter how author present it - with plenty of humor even - if the context was already grim, then you don't have mood to jerk off or maybe you ended up jerking off but will result unsatisfying lingering feeling after you done.
Still, I think some if not most of you will like it. Now, my only objective complains are:
1. The characters are talking too much. Even during sex scene. And by I mean too much, it's about 4 lines in average every time they talk. Most if it were bragging about their sexual wisdom or straight-up degrading MC. No matter how horny you are, it's still too long.
2. The characters are talking too slow! I know some archetypes have their own signature way of talking and VAs only did their job to follow that but still... It's too slow. They can fasten the way they talk and still maintain their character impression just fine, without sounding too dragging and annoying.
3. System are also too slow! The screen fade, text animation, sound effect! Even when you skip over the text, you will have to wait cumming sfx to finish before you proceed to another dick flattening session. It's so damn slow.
4. You can only save at certain phase. When you watch insanely long VN scene, you can't save. You can save only when you're roaming around. So yes, if you feel it's too long. The only things you can do are either skip throughout the scenes. Or you brace yourself for at least 20 minutes session of onee-san trampling on your self-esteem each time.
Verdict: 3.5/5. Could be 4/5 but honestly, it's not one of the best jerk off session in my life so I couldn't bother to give it extra score. At least for now. Might be changed later because of its potential replayability as pure jerk off material.
