IMHO the three plot lines are manageable, coding-wise. And there are always going to be variables (subplots) triggered by the player's choices. Thinking that KingB has some experience with writing code and flow charts and not falling into the trap (tyranny of numbers) of too many variables wrecking the game.

I did have to restart myself. I'm not sure why my saves weren't progressing, though. I had 8 different paths saved and none of them progressed to the party scene. I just deleted all my saves because they were getting messy anyway. It may be that there was only new content on paths we weren't on.
