Probably... there has not been any communication from the Dev
The developer has suspended payments until 01/29/2025. If he had closed the project, he would have written. So let's wait until the end of the month. I think one of 3 options will happen:
1. There will be news about the next release.
2. There will be silence and the suspension of payments will continue again.
3. He will say that the project is closed, I don't think this will happen, King B invested a lot in it and reached a good story, art and animation in order to continue making the project even better and earn good money.
My opinion is that something happened in his personal life that is not related to the loss of data in the game.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was using this time to start another game with a Netorare & BBC theme. See his novels. This game's FMC has been corrupted and has reached the slut stage of character development, at least on the Darrel path, one that appears to be the most popular and discussed.

I don't see the point in creating a new game if this one isn't even half done, plus creating new renders and other stuff. Too much work.
Sometimes you need a break to recover the creative juices. I’d give it a few more months before writing it off as abandoned. The lack of communication is weird though.
That being said, there’s enough content here where people could mod in their own paths pretty easily by rearranging scenes. And the fan art is pretty decent if one of those artists wanted to give a continuation a go. I think the universe will live on.

IDK if that's it, either way, he made a good game. My main concern was that it was too complicated. I hope he will come back and wrap it up and make a new game... but not so difficult.

Agreed.. I think it got to wide in paths... so i think was hard to keep it all going. to mush stress. But a GREAT game! Great Dev. Tried to deliver every 4 to 6 weeks
for me this game ended with the college party update it was still good content
although I must say that I was still counting on content with Riya

I would just be happy If the dev completed the NTR route and get on with It..Nat gets pregnant with Darrels child while Ethan plays the 3rd wheel in the relationship...Darrel banging Pregnant Nat while Ethan watches would be so hot.

I read the Amazon version where the chief used some herb (vodoo type magic) and his six bumbs to woo her heart and the husband in the finale manages to break her from the trance! And manages to escape from the jungle but she kept six bumbs child and it's hinted she will never be satisfied by her hubby.
Though It actually went different directions than other Amazon stories.
Most if not all Amazon Cheating wife, Corruption stories are full cuckold and humiliation based.
Where one fuck to rule them all I mean will make the wife/gf fall. After which the story unfolds how hubby/bf accepts her or (forced) learns he is a cuck and is just there as a third wheel for the wife and bull.
I read few and was quiet angry and depressed why I wasted my time reading them. None had any buildup or drama just it was trying to justify in different settings and scenario why the MMC should accept it and become a cuck.

These stories always focus on the sexual part but ignore that the chief's new white wife now has to go out with the other women to work the fields, cook every night over a fire, or wash clothes by hand in a stream. Shave her legs? Cosmetics? Nah..doesn't need that stuff any longer. Getting banged with a twelve-inch rod every night is supposed to make the woman forget her former life in civilization. But let's not take anything too seriously.....this VN is a product of the developer's imagination, which appears to be focused on the BBC wife's corruption/cuckold humiliation and eventual abandonment of the husband by the wife.
