This actually made me giggle. The "LI's must be pure" faction intersection with the incest faction just freak the fuck out when they find out the MC is the literal son of a whore. What will the "MC must be a gigachad" faction think?

I like the colorful backstory. Came to this game after playing Whoremonger and really enjoying it despite it being not what I expected. I'm not in any of those three factions (nor the milf faction) so I'm hoping this game will let me help the mother without getting involved with her. Guess I should go finish and find out.

Maybe memory is misleading me, but isn't it said later on this whole prostitution deal is kind of a recent thing on her part? Guess i have to replay a bit one of those days, just to be certain either way.

come over whoremonger. am not yet finish even ch.1.

dev is still the outstanding script writer on this site if not the most. I am not naive speaker but this and the other game is tv drama script level as least.

the rendering is much better here. story is still interesting but I still like whoremonger more as the MC there act more nature than it is here.
it is sad whoremonger render level will not be as high as this one without overhauling.

I don't think that's really fair. Yes, over half of the renders in Whoremonger were done when I was just starting to learn Daz. It's not a matter of any overhauls, it's just that by the time I started making A Dark Horse Riding, I knew a lot more about rendering in DAZ. Also, all the models in Dark Horse Riding are Genesis 9, and have (mostly) better skin textures. Some of them even in 8K.

But my later Whoremonger renders are getting much better (at least IMO). I'm kinda locked in to the characters, but I have made changes to a couple of them and I got some of the settings adjusted for better renders. My new video card also allows me to do full frame renders now as well, so there's not near as much post processing in Photoshop.

I posted this a while ago on my Discord and to my subs, of course, but I am concentrating on Whoremonger right now. I will still work on Dark Horse in small amounts just to take breaks from WM, but until I release the final version of that other VN, this one is sort of on hold. It's not abandoned by any means! I just learned the hard way that it was too much work for me, as a solo dev, to be consistent with quality when having to switch back and forth. So I'll finish up my first baby and then circle back to this one. Later this winter I will also be doing pre-production on a new project.

I do hope to get a small update out for Dark Horse here... possibly after I release the Part 2 of Act 3 of Whoremonger. I'll be dropping Part 1 here later today. And Part 2 is 75% done already. So maybe some time in February for a small update to DH.

These are all very loose estimates though. Shit happens (often!) Haha
