This is a terrible game. Idiotic start, bad character developments, unbelievable situations and actions… Renders are very dated, animations are wooden. Sandbox just wastes time.

Oh dear, what a time waster and mouse killer.
How to say that politely, the general plot - if that can be called as such, starts off with a decent idea to get things rolling, if you survive the horrendous, unfunny introduction that is. Unfortunately the only thing that comes out of it is a grindfest, spiced up with unfunny humor attempts and lame self awareness jokes. If your older than 25, the humour is probably not for you. The presentation is great if you're into that style, if not it propably doesn't do much for you, somewhere between bad and mediocre. The quests seem to be disconnected from each other and you can do them pretty much any order you want to, but there are certain dependencies and illogical reactions from the npcs. The latter is somewhat a red line throughout the piece, the game doesn't really acknoledge the NPC stat buildups or previous events, e.g. you came to almost fucking a character in one event chain, but on another she is really uncomfortable to strip down, or do the same thing that happened the night before and so on. Apart from beeing more or less a clicker game you grind through, there are story events happening, which are making the hole you want to dig out even deeper and grindy for you, to the point that starts to get really annoying. That mechanic is partly used to get more girls in your reach, but the way it's done and storywise integrated is just unispired and makes you wanna rage quit. A drink while playing is recommended, improves the jokes as well, when intoxicated. The buildup is very, very, very slow and you can easily bring yourself into a situation where you got stuck doing the same stuff again and again for days, wishing that you could skip days, which you can't btw. Talking about boreout, half of the NPCs are annoying, the other half a bit boring and you as the MC are of course the man of the house, riding that incest game cliche like a dead horse.

- you can choose to not have that NTR crap in your playthrough, making it even more annoying

- the game gives a crap and tries to pick up that BS in situations later on, instead of leaving you alone, working your ass off, for characters you don't really care about

Tip:
Don't get excited about the submissive status, it does he thing affection should do instead, NPCs being more open to listen to the MCs suggestions.

If you like grinding your ass off, for some not that great xxx-scenes , lame jokes and annoying text glue, let's call it story, go for it, but I suggest you better look elsewhere. There are much better hardcore grinding games out there, one star is pretty generous.

Played it for two days. Got the mom events done till it got to risky, according to the game quest descriptions, got the sisters photo shoots, aunty is the maid done, got the point where that blackmailing FBI-wench wanted to move it - there, you've done it, rage quit, want my live time back.

Playing this game from more or less full NTR it's a lot of fun. I quite like that the MC himself still gets action and even gets to join in on the scenes making them even hotter for someone who enjoys that type of genre of porn.
Love seeing Matt more and more come into the household and gaining dominance over all the girls. Hoping that Mandy will be up soon for Matt and eventually all the girls.
Other than that I think the renders are great, story is pretty fun as well cause it makes for some interesting scenarios. The best part is definitely the dialogue with mix of in-head-thoughts and spoken where you get to see what the characters think. The full NTR dialogue is superb as well!

I like all the girls so far, they're all unique and cute/hot in their own ways.

The only criticism I really have is that the way you traversal through rooms can feel a bit annoying and lead to a lot of clicking.

Looking forward to future updates a lot.

''squirting'' in every sex scene is this 2010? XD anorexic girls, weird body positions.. the sex sounds are mostly pretty good (except acoustics are sometimes off but it's still hot).. Dialogue is decent but not immersive enough.. and not a fan of the boy model (too feminine).. overall story is very meh but not bad, animations are good.. I want to give it 2.5 stars

I am removing a star because I couldn't complete the game because of a game breaking bug the move will never try to relief herself in the bedroom only get the aunt workout scenes and their shared yoga scenes for 2 hrs straight no amount of fast forwarding will fix it, so I guess if this game ever become available on steam I will purchase with hopes of bugs fixing because was a great game, but a bug stops my completion.
Edit: not gaming breaking bug when building sexual frustration. Prevent Jacky from getting herself off at school, in the bathroom, and in the bedroom all in one day. If this game comes to steam, the incest plot may hurt sales, and if the characters could be aged up would most definitely offset any backlash.

Its a sandbox game where there is a NTR and loyalty path, you choose what you get.
Basically it involves visiting places in household and town.
There is some grinding which is okay if its your first time in the game, if you wanna speed things up theres cheats on the phone.
Theres also repeatable sex scenes and the events that come every week.
How you progress the story is by looking by events on the phone which are easy enough to follow. Theres all kinds of kinks and the game gets very hot and interesting.

Now if i have to rate story i'd say 4.5/5.
The story isnt exactly like other VN in depth.
The story speaks for itself by the things you do through the events.
And its pretty fun one.

The aninations are excellent 5/5 .

Gameplay 4/5.

If new players are reading this but in doubt, i'd say you definitely have to try it for yourself.

The game has a fairly good structure, I didn't encounter any problems such as crashes or lag, nor the classic errors of other Ren'Py games, the only small problem is the time that doesn't pass after the scenes at school (I think after starting the elections) and a small repetition of the elections quest, which I don't know why I had to start it twice, everything else is ok.

Speaking of the characters I can say that they are so-so, I honestly really appreciated the aesthetics of Jacky and Lauren, an aesthetic that stands out from other characters in other games, so they make themselves remembered.
The rest of the characters unfortunately seemed anonymous to me (aesthetics).

The game is definitely repetitive but it's a repetition that didn't bother me too much.

For the NTR scenes I wouldn't know how to rate the game.
They are optional scenes, so you can easily avoid them.
Personally I'm not a fan but neither one who avoids NTR scenes, in some games they are well done, here I honestly always opted for the layalty route. I appreciate that they are not mandatory, but at the same time it is a route that is part of the game, so it is right to also consider those scenes.
The only NTR scenes that I was able to appreciate were the ones in the bathroom for the elections (Lauren), the worst ones for sure those with Matt, who as mentioned before is an anonymous character who leaves nothing behind.

The scenes are done quite well.
Overall I promote and recommend the game.

Well, the animations are hot, and there is plenty of content, but you will hit the wall over and over again, meaning repeating the same routine every day with maybe 1 or 2 things to do and that's it. Still needs to either be condensed or have more content added to fill in the blanks, reminds me of A country life or whatever, 24 hour day and only 3 time slots where you actually have something to progress on.

8 months updates, a lot of delays, fake loyal route forced NTR because its in the main plot, been 3 years of game and the protagonist still didnt the mom.

My advice, wait until its finished, its good game the problem is the development.

I played the 0.8v3b version and had a pleasant and fun experience. It is a nice visual novel, especially for those who like incest and family sex games. Even though I'm not fond of incest and family sex games, the fun plot and appropriate references to other incest games (big brother, milf city) made the game quite entertaining. I've added the game to my watchlist and I plan to support the developer on one of the platforms as soon as possible. Let's see what new updates will bring us.

A family venture is just great.
The story is great.
The girls and women in this game are realistic and not as exaggerated as in other games where they often have oversized tits and look like a sex doll or little 8 year old girls supposed to be 18 years old.
I find A Family Venture to be a bit like an open world game where you influence the story through decisions.
I've already played through the game 4 times and each time I made different decisions and got different results accordingly.

I'm already looking forward to future updates, because I'm very excited to see how the story continues.

Review of v0.08v3b

The story is good enough to keep me coming back every few patches but the actual gameplay is grindy and unpleasant.

It's a pretty typical "dad's gone, time to get a job and turn all your family members into your harem" but the dev has kept the number of characters reasonable and they all feel unique and well-developed. The corruption is well-paced and some of the sex scenes are very spicy.

It's really just the grind holding the game back. Early on you'll have events where you have to run them over and over just to get the stat needed to see the higher levels of said event. Later, the game switches to having once-a-week events you have to run as many as six times. The election event is particularly bad but the newest patch has a "quest" that's just "do Sunday all-day event six times".

So if you don't mind grinding for content, this is definitely worth playing.

this game could be anywhere from 2stars to 4... i could even understand the 5 due to the amount of time you can "waste". too bad most of it is grinding. and the sex scenes are usually not worth the time invested. they are not bad but nothing great either.

this game would be a decent 4/5 game without any grind just as a simple visual novel. i rarely vouch for a gallery unlocker, but here imo it's necessary. just unlock gallery, watch scenes, and delete the game. the story is occasionally buggy, sometimes self-awarely funny, but quite simple and cliché with some unique routes to the intended sexual result (incest).

i think i played like 10+hours then went to sleep... without fapping... not that there weren't sexy scenes... it's just usually low frame animations or boring sexual (and grindy) stuff. and a very slow start. but i think after 10+hours the story picks up to make sex a bit more interesting. but still it's just too many little tiny problems with the game, which are hard to explain aside from being very slow.

with some small changes and being a VN this could easily be a standard 5/5 incest to recommend. but it sadly isn't. it's a poorly made game with some occasionally great sexual situation ideas, a lot of blueballing and grinding. "rape" tag is mostly nonexistent. NTR is mostly used in failing your longterm goals/ambitions. i could have easily given this 2/5 with a good conscience, but it has a lot of content so it's really hard to rate. so 3/5 it is overall.

if you want to "waste" a lot of your time by grinding and slow pacing while the game still keeps you a bit interested but not enough to satisfy your "itch" then this game is perfect for you.

Nice models and great sex scenes, the grind is a tad tiresome early on with progress being a bit slow but it's manageable for me. Being a bit less sandboxy would have made the game perfect imo but still worth a shot if the tags are to your interest.

This game deserve an average note above 4 out of 5. I don't understand its current rating, which is why I write this review, in a effort to make it higher.

I don't understand the bad comments about the grind. With a few use of the skip buttons, it's not that tiresome. And the hints are helpful, so it's hard to get stuck (and easy to get sucked lol).

Lauren is the best girl there though, and the fun started with the more recent updates, it's only uphill from here I imagine. Though, I believe people will go toward the mother, few scenes with her as for now, kind of a slow burn on her part.

To synthetise a bit, this game is very versatile, and you can avoid most fetishes you're not comfortable with. The models look great, the animations too. The story is good, as well as the dirty talk. There's some humor, nothing to crack a rib, but still, it's funny. So, yeah, play this game, especially if you're into incest games. It's not perfect, for sure, but it doesn't deserve its actual rating.

Usually I'm not a fan of 3d games but this one is extremely well done. There are ton's of content. Multiple tags, good renders, lots of incest, compelling story and great gameplay. I'm sure to revisit this one when more content comes out

The sandbox elements ruin any chances this has for being good. Far too grindy to be enjoyable. On top of that there is barely any content in the first place, and despite all the overtly sexual things you do with your sisters they refuse any actualy sexy stuff with you. And this has been in development for a looong time now. Still cant have sex with your mom. Unacceptable stuff.

I just binged this game so freaking hard it is not even funny, and I can't wait for the sequel. So. The artwork is fantastic for a game of this size and for this style. There are a few games out there with more top-tier art, but this is on-par with other CG ones that don't break immersion, the characters look distinct and interesting, and there's something bordering on vulgar in some of the looks that certainly draws me in. Content wise its slightly standard fare of what we expect from this genre (it even introspectively makes fun of that through some 4th wall breaks) but if the formula works well... I'm certainly happy to see more of it! And it has enough novelty in how it is presented that I actually follow and don't tune it out, that I'm curious about navigating through it, and that I'm excited to see how the corruption plays out. And the writing is fantastic. Not too wordy, not too brief, good grammar, enough lewdness in the right spots to be hot, not reading like a fan fic porn novel.. Just love it. And so very sad to have reached the end of the current content (which is very helpfully indicated in the game's menus). More please!

Version 0.08 Played using the cheats in the phone

Well this is a gem that I always skipped as the pinned pics didnt really do it for me. Gave it a go, what a surprise. First I played with cheats on the phone, which seemed to bring down any grind that others seem to complain about, but it really didn't seem like the grind would have been too bad. After all this is a game, not a visual novel, or slideshow.

It was very fun to play. Extremely well written, renders are very good, and those start to grow on you during gameplay. Characters are very well thought out and gameplay is very well done.

The "progress" guide, checklist could be cleaned up, but it is there and tells you what you need to do, when to do it.

The story is engaging, funny and hot. As it is a "game" yes there is a need to progress and you get cockblocked many times ...so if you don't want that, go watch some porn. Its a very fun play and lots of playtime as of 0.08.

Only downer for myself was when the MC is visible...what a turd, midget, ugly, out of shape ...teen kid, with a horse cock. Wish the Dev made him at least a decent looking, normal height. As it is now, all the women fall for his cock....just his cock and his amazing white knight personality. As he has no physical attributes that are attractive...well other than his baseball bat dick.

Great game otherwise, very enjoyable and lots of playtime. Not a fap fest, but a great goal orientated, stage driven game.

This game follows the typical H trope where the borderline sociopathic brother wants to fuck his family, the difference of this game with fucking garbage like big brother and bad bobby is that this game doesn't take itself too seriously and that makes it fun to play, the writing is fun and witty, and grinding does have its rewards so it's not that annoying, and that's one thing i don't understand, this game gets a lot of bad reviews for supposedly having a lot of grinding but that's just false the grinding can be avoid very easily using the cheats that are on the phone, or at least that's what I did, but anyway the average user of this forum is not very smart, as for the renders it is true that they cannot be for everyone and sometimes the facial expressions are a bit cursed but personally I like them, they are not the best renders in the world but they are good. Anyway, I really like this game and it's kind of weird because I usually don't like this type of game with this type of mc but as I said, what I really think makes this game special is how it's written, it's very funny
