I think the Dev could pull off a path for that, if he were to just continue with the existing game, but I wouldn't want it to be the only path, which a brothel would seem to dictate. Once again, just my opinion.

I think the biggest problem with keeping the existing girls as the main cast in a second game is the babies.
On the NTR path Ryan really doesn't have an option to pull out so it really just a matter of time before they get knocked up by their NTR counterparts.
Instead of keeping them as the main cast you could have the second game take place in the same town with a new cast of girls and a new MC. At the start of the game the player could be asked if they played the first game and if so did they go the NTR or Harem route.
If they pick the NTR the new MC would occasionally run into Jacky and the girls around town or at Joey's club. Maybe even fuck them if they are willing to pay.
On the Harem side you'd still run into them around town but Ryan would be with them and they'd be quite happy. Could be the player would catch them now and then fucking somewhere.
Further more you could set up the new cast in the first game. Ryan wouldn't get to do more than meet some of the new girls but it would establish them in the world so when the second game picks up the player would already know a little about them.

Most people would likely call that NTR as the Player has to watch girls getting fucked by other guys (wrong assumption based on the meaning of NTR but it happens all the time on this Forum)
People would cry, why the Dev introduces unfuckable girls in this game... sadly this also happens all the time an unfuckable side character makes an appearance in a Harem game

Since there is no Dev's note or post about it I take the liberty of asking this question, is the ntr optional?
If I had to guess based on the overview, if the MC pays he keeps the girls, and if he doesn't the girls pay for him. Or it will happen no matter what?

You have to grind a bit (or cheat) to keep the ntr from happening.
i tried this one a long time ago, when it first released a couple updates. Felt like trying it again, see how much its improved. I saw a couple comments about an update. So is it worth checking out now, or is the update around the corner and i should wait a little bit?
We don't have an exact date for the update but it's still worth checking it out

Yes you can avoid the NTR.
NTR happens as a consequence of Ryan failing to live up to being the man of the house. If he can pay the weekly mafia dept Jacky has to strip to pay it. If Ryan doesn't help Lauren win the election Matt wins and NTR ensues.
I wouldn't say there is any grind in the game, by the time Sidney starts working at the club you're making more passive money than you can spend.
