I started reading the tea leaves in this thread and I had an uneasy feeling at how some of the comments were swinging. It's all good though. For now. The same trolls that cry to Patreon and make their threats, will do the same for itch.io. No stopping entitled lunatics.
There were some gripes about the whole NTR/non-NTR thing (as usual in most of these threads). It'd gotten to the point where Will had to explain the game several times to cool things down. Some commenters wouldn't let it go. Then it went to a point of trying to bash the game or the devs. I've learned that, when people resort to those types of actions, they'll resort to extremism because they can't get their way. When That happens, they go to measures like going to Patreon modders to bitch about violation of EULA and anything Else they can. By their rules, Patreon has to investigate the complaint(s).
I know for a Fact that another game that I followed and who had a thread in the forum, one particular nutcase even outright Told the dev that he was going to complain to Patreon to get his game shut down. I guess that he did because the dev's Patreon was briefly suspended but the dev decided it wasn't worth the heartache and abandoned his game. It hurt a lot of people because of a Lunatic. That's cyberbullying at it's best. My overriding issue with that is that the bullies can stay anonymous and the devs can't confront then in an open forum with a Patreon moderator as an arbiter. That's like throwing a brick at someone then hiding in the crowd with your hands behind your back playing innocent.
It's bad enough that you have the "Moral Majority" out there putting pressure on banks to not allow customers to use their credit cards to purchase some adult content (some real life content Should have restrictions on it) but pixellated content is taking it a wee bit too far. Case in point: there's a LOT of gripes about loli, shota, and bestiality mainly in these forums, Yet you have comics and some games with graphic and gory violence, mainly to women, and No One utters a damned word. I've viewed comics out there that makes you wonder if the creators or the folks that commission them, have serious social issues and mental problems, all under the guise of "artistic freedom". Really? There's bdsm comics out there where females are kidnapped and brutally tortured, maimed, disfigured, dismembered and killed But Again, Nobody bitches about that. It just makes me wonder what the hell is wrong with the human race to cry and bitch about petty stuff when more serious crap is out there to address. And yeah, this is a little off-topic but this had to be addressed.

users trying to influence the dev through brigading (often passive aggressive) is one of the most abhorrent behaviors i see in this forums.
And i disagree with your whataboutism over violence in fiction, mature healthy minded individuals are able to distinguish fiction from reality(even on a unconscious level) and any type of censorship is a slippery slope that should be avoided.
I can agree with your last statement but, unfortunately as we see with Will and others, it's not being avoided. If anything, it's getting worse. It's becoming something akin to Farenheit 459. Also, I'm not calling for a ban on the other things that I mentioned. I was merely pointing out how people can be outraged about pixellated NTR (with most of the complainers not understanding what it truly means), loli, or bestiality but seem to be ok with the more extreme "art" forms where there's been no complaints (at least as far as I've seen).

Why even make a post like this? Clearly there's no update to the game, and the most recent text update is literally public and free on SubscribeStar.
Just to clarify for anyone who didn't understand this (yes, I know you're all intelligent, reasonable human[ish] beings, but just in case...), you can follow WillTylor's SubscribeStar for free (or just hit the link in the OP), and you can see any of the public posts, which includes the Proof of Life and dev updates. Will also generally posts the PoL updates here. So if you haven't seen anything that says there's been an update, please, with the utmost respect, STOP FUCKING ASKING. WillTylor and strenif are pretty consistent about letting everyone know when there's an update. They're not going to hide it from you.
If you really want to be up to date with everything, dig into your couch (yeah, the one you haven't cleaned in at least two years), pull out that loose five bucks in change that's fallen out of your pants every time you shuffled them down to your knees and re-watched GoT with the pause button at the ready, wipe off the Cheeto crumbs, and subscribe to the Best Friend tier on SS. You didn't even know that cheese-powdered money existed, so you won't miss it, and you'll not only get the newest game release when it comes out, but NSFW previews in between to slake your thirst for AFV naughtiness. Worst-case, just give up one of your double-whip-no-fat-extra-cummy-venti-pumpkin-spice-macchiatos (that's a thing, right?) per month, and you'll not only get the goodies, but you'll be helping the development of the game. Hell, if enough of us do that, maybe, just maybe, Will could work on AFV full-time, and we'd all get together to have a lovely parade of questionable legality.
Alright, now that I'm sure I've offended at least a few pretty pretty snowflakes out there, I'm off to have my mid-morning beer(s) and pray that some people learn patience and figure out how the interwebs works.
And sincere apologies for any offense caused to the good people of this site. Every time I get a notification that there was an update to this thread, I hope for something meaningful, or at least amusing, but I do get a little frustrated by the constant inanity of update requests when everyone should know by now that we'll be duly informed when something drops.
