Excellent game (or rather VN) so far!

I did not like the dev's other games, even though they were all well made, as I found them all unkind und unpleasant.
But this one is great! Writing is good and fun, story is interesting, characters are varied and interesting and relatable, renders and models are good.

a hidden gem, the story pulled me so hard i couldnt even blink before finishing it. the music was well choosed and fits to the story. i like the worldbuilding and that not every woman looks like a crafted bimbo it adds more reallity to the game.

    Chapter 4.
This is a really good game.
    Interesting, mystery story line.
    Good artwork.
The girls are all cute. what more could you ask for.
Nothing at all that I can criticise.
    Maximum score from me.

I don't know what I was expecting going in but it wasn't a well made, well written fantasy experience. I'm a sucker for great fantasy world building and this game nailed it. There are enough details to understand what's going on but there's still a lot of mystery and intrigue.

This game is not a fap fest. It is a great fantasy story with what seem like interesting characters and a great world.

    reviewed against chapter 4.

It's a very good game, there's a lot to love. It's got an actual plot, the characters are interesting who look like they've had effort put into them to look distinct from the usual tired models, and there's some spooky nonsense going on which is enticing.

The only issue I have, and why this is a "good" review rather than a "great" one is the delivery is a bit off. The pace of the plot is VERY fast.

Get a phone call. Go here. speak to him. oh there's a body. speak to her. Go here, oh the body's gone, go outside, oh he's missing now. Here's your house and a new character. Have a flash back. here's the a brief outline about a game play mechanic. a ring of vibrating

    I
t's breakneck speed and it kinda needs to just chiiiiiillllll a little. Take a step back, pad out the dialogue with some exposition, maybe a bit more internal monologuing. the game needs time to breath and certainly in the beginning, it doesn't have it. I get intros tend to be a bit fast paced because you want to draw players in but sometimes it helps to just assume the player isn't on the same page as you. I mean the game doesn't even really detail you the MC is, you're thrown right into the plot.

There's a LOT going on, some of it's intriguing and sure some mystery can be interesting but the game struggles at the basics of story telling of show don't tell. And at times when it does give a bit of detail, it feels clunky. There's a bit at the beginning when you're sleeping and a lassie comes to see you. There's then text which goes like

She looks down on you, her eyes fill with sorrow, her expression is one of deep regret, like someone forced to do something against their will

Why are you telling me this? You're literally showing me what she's doing. I get it, the commentary doesn't seem like it's needed. If the story requires a bit of backstory to why she's doing this then work it into the plot, show her internal dialogue or something if you must.

This is a pretty damn good story and enjoying the heck out of it. Graphics are good and while not much "action" yet, the story more than carries this AVN.

Much different then the other AVNs by the creator, which were not as much my style. This one however is.

    Looking forward to future releases

"The Professor" was goofy and entertaining and showed an impressive talent for rendering characters. "The Joob-Joob" was... OK, but seemed to lose its way. "The Professor II" maintained the positive features of its predecessor, with a more compelling story line.

This, though, is really classy. On track to be one of the great VNs. Narrative is everything.

Have become (again) a patron on the strength of this.

    Truly is an excellent game.
The game paces itself almost like a book, and the erotic elements are almost more artistic than anything else.
There is also a focus on urgency, which I think really has disappeared even in AAA games today.
Altogether I think that this has a 90s atmosphere about it with better graphics, something that I want to see more of in the future.

At first I was skeptical with the high rating of this game, but after playing it I believe it deserve to be considered one of the best game on this site if it keep the pacing on future updates. The story is engaging and music was good, also unlike other protag the mc doesn't think with his dik which is a plus for me after playing an abundant amount of braindead mc. No lewds scenes so far which I prefer since its a supernatural story with serious plot and having lewd scenes this early on can be immersive breaking from this point.

So far I'm LOVING this game and recommend it to anyone who likes a good horror/mystery story! If you played Once in a Lifetime it reminds me of that. (and that's a GOOD thing!) I wrote a running commentary as I played....

    Running commentary:

    1) gong = going (spelling)
    2) don't make a choice a non choice (unless I'm missing something further down the road) first "choice" accept or not has (so far) equal conclusions.
    3) Maddy, so far, is great, love her snark!
    4) Sadie is cute AF, nice! (but I always liked that stock model, you did good making her just slightly different from stock).
    5) You have "current LEPOS with DANNY at 50" I assume this is supposed to be SADIE?
    6) Danny is super cute, but watch out for model looking underage if she's going to be a LI (ESPECIALLY with the braces!)
    7) Nice job on the intrigue, but (and this is just my opinion) maybe don't explain it. I'm specifically talking about Maddy reaching for her gun... you know what.. nevermind, a lot of people don't pay attention and click fast, you are correct to explain.
    8) If it isn't horrendosuly difficult, consider putting in a notes section for things like the back of Maddy's card. I'm guessing I'll want to refer to the prophecy later and won't remember it due to the game being an ongoing progress.
    9) think about making an aoptional stat revealer. I'm not a coder, but I'm guessing choices made perhaps define your character? Like first choice, if you take the money you're adverturous, if you don't you're cautious. at Right or left choice if you choose left again, you're cautious, if right, adventurous? Or I'm totally wrong and it's just fake choices (which are bad IMO).
    10) Heh, I retract all my 1 path from above stuf with "I never really had a choice, did I?" Nicely done!
    11) Don't fall into the trope of not talking to people as you trust them. This ring has tingled at least 3 times and you haven't thought to ask Maddy why? Don't do that (though I suppose it's forgivable with the Cardinal's "Trust noon", but then you couldn't trust the cardinal, so you SHOULD trust someone!
    12) NICE rendering and video of Maddy! (also, of COURSE you're going to peek (and reload if you get caught, lol! :) )
    13) Heh, lol "I JUST turned 18 today!" lol, don't use "I'm not a teen anymore" since 18 is still a "teen" Maybe, "I'm finally legal! Then something like "To vote, you perv" or something like that. Ah, crap! NICE humor!
    14) Heh, buying your way into Danny's pants with fake money, also nice work on the render with Sadie's buttons.
    15) OK, dude, no WAY the render of Danny is 19.5 years old I'd (barely) buy that she turned 18 a month ago, but not 1.5 years ago.
    16) Sigh... you've got it all worked out don't you... it's like you're reading my critique in advance and responding to it...
    17) Well... Nicole is now number 1 unless her personality sucks.... Also "she likes to watch" Planned tag harem? Or at least a throuple?
    18) No need to spell out "Maddy is afraid" you did a good render of her face, anyone with a soul knows she's afraid.
    19) wonderfully done with the emotions! add a comma after "broken" in her contorted, broken, naked body.
    20) and crap, damned onion ninjas, nice writing!
    21) I spent 10 minutes google translating the last part and wouldn't even attempt the Greek and then you just gave it to me, you bastard!!!
    22) Wendy go... Wendigo? Wendigo might fit......
    23) Karina just moved up to number 2 spot, possibly number 1 depending on upcoming stuff with Ncole vs. Karina
    24) MC best not be a full Fng Priest in a PORN game!!!!!
    25) AH!!! So that's why Maddy looks older, used too much mana, did ya? Went a little Blood magic, did ya?
    26) Nice to be proven correct on the Wendigo thing.

Nicely done, the action is good enough to keep me hooked despite no lewds (I like good writing/story over lewds anyway) the characters are interesting and you left me longing for the next update. Gonna copy/paste this into ratings with a 5 star.

Unique style and the dev is always producing content. Great renders and storyline in this game. When the dev hits a great premise to a game(like this one) I can hardly wait til the next update hits. Definitely not a run of the mill piece of work. Pixieblink is like cream(no not that kind) and he's slowly but surely rising to the top.

All in all, another wholesome, yet even better update.

If you're undecisive about whether to play this game, I'd say this game is very well worth it.
It's very unique, and leave you engaged, and asking questions.

Great game simply... If you love horror and suspense in game, this is it. I have not tried any horror games before this (tbh, I haven't encountered horror games in the adult gaming platform) but this seems superbly built/knitted. I highly recommend playing this game. There is a suspense and thrill in every moments of the game.
Edit : for chapter 9 -- This game deserves more stars with the progress it is making. The plot is a bit complex but it is full of drama, suspense, emotions. Great work pixieblink.

A great stat indeed. From the title I thought this game is about a perverted, evil minded priest who corrupts all the girls in town with some weird rituals or something like that. Absolutely glad it's not something like that. There is a mysterious story going on. And the music and sound effects gives horroric and creepy atmosphere which makes it more interesting. And good renders and animations. Writing is good. Well looking forward to next update which comes in March. Keep up the good work dev. Hoping this one don't get abandoned or put onhold

    Chapter 1

    A new Pixieblink game?
    With a serious story?
    Great improved render quality?
And hopefully (part) of his unique humor?

    Count me in!

Renders are really good, story seems interesting and it still has his style, just more serious and not too goofy,
    Really a great start.

[Reviewed: Chapter I; updated to Chapter II]

More of an introduction than a "Chapter 1" in my opinion, but there's already an interesting story that we only just get started with. We meet a few characters that appear to be on-going players in the plot, with a like/trust points model for each that's overt -- telling us whenever it changes. We're left with more mysteries as this version ends.

The only lewdness at this point is a shower viewing -- your choice whether you see "full frontal" with animation. The visuals are good, with a regular scattering of other animations. The sound effects present are used appropriately. And background music has been chosen to match the current location.

There are a few spelling errors ("Arche Dioses" instead of "Archdiocese" for example) but happily the author uses subject and object pronouns correctly!

    [update for Chapter II]
This episode is a short addition to the story -- some or maybe all of the next day. We're introduced to a new character (briefly) and can improve a couple of character's opinions of the protagonist. We also get some backstory for (what we are hinted as being) the protagonist. And again, we're left hanging at another story reveal at the end of this episode.

This continues to be a solid start on an interesting story. I'm looking forward to the next update. 5 stars. Keep up the good work.
