What is up with the oddly done transitions?

I can never tell when a scene will automatically advance or not so I spend a lot of time waiting and waiting to click to the next screen. Destroys immersion.

Neat story and premise, but the execution is awkward, IMO.

If you can't disable them in the preferences (I don't have this game on-hand ATM to check), there is a suuposedly universal mod out there somewhere made to bypass intro animations (and skip to the main menu screen) and remove all transitions in-game. I've never tried it, but if you find it maybe that works for you?

Usually, if there's an orange border around the screen, it's a slideshow and you should wait. If there's no such border, click to advance

Has anyone else run into the problem where there is just no text for several scenes after the first sex scene with Tracy/Sue in that shower room? I didn't check if there was no text for the whole rest of the game, but I checked several scenes and there was nothing so I assume something went wrong. For reference, I'm using the mod linked on the main page, not sure if I ran into a bug with it.

You've accidentally pressed H or your middle mouse wheel. If you do so again, the text will be back. Alternatively, you can go into preferences, and unhide the textbox manually

if he pressed h or middle mouse ,a single left click should've brought back the text box.
more likely it was a transition or something. hard to say without a screenshot

Nope... I do have some of those but I do not follow them closely. Except AFW of course.

I have with a foreign world, I read every line of the story, can't say I do that for any other story out there...

I previously didn't care much about this dev's games, his previous two titles didn't grab me at all. But have to say, this one is very well done, great models and renders and an interesting story. He for sure set a new quality bar with this one. Pretty enjoyable game so far, looking forward to more
