Yes, I'm a little late with this month's Special Renders, so the theme is 4th of July.
But aren't those the renders for June?
Yes, and the fourth of July is already next week, so I don't see the issue. Maybe I'm early and not late. That sounds a lot better, so I'll proabbyl just go with this. I'm not late fore June. I'm early for the 4th of July.
Now, that we all understand each other. Let's talk about the renders. This month we had a three way tie, even after all the special rules meant to resolve such ties have been applied... Well, shit.
Sue was the name at the top, so I chose her to do the first render about. Megan and Fiona will have another chance next month. This also means that Sue will start out next month with +0 again. I don't make the rules...
I think the only thing that could make this render more american would be if MC were holding a can of beer in his left hand. Does it need any more explaining? I think not.
Second we have Aurora. This is the odd one out. I didn't receive a request for her from one of my Tier 4 Patreons, and she also didn't win this month's special render poll. But then a request reached my ear from someone who definitely deserves a special render. In fact, he is doing a lot for the game, and a single special render might even be a little cheap.
Well, I hope he likes the scenario I chose for Aurora. It contrasts with how she is usually portrayed in the story, but two or three years down the line... I could definitely see it. Once again, the theme is fourth of july, so she also rocks that awesome bikini. But not only that, she even has fun... Something rarely seen. Probably not canon, but a perfect fit for summer. It's pretty damn hot here in germany. Just saying.
Now we get to the last one, and the directive was Amber. It was requested by one of my Tier 4 Patreons. I have three of those, but two don't want to talk to me. Idk. I'm glad they support me. But yes, there was no special wish, no prefered scenario, so I thought of something myself. Maybe you have realized by now, I love peaceful and thought provocing scenarios, and that's also what I chose here.
Amber is the perfect fit. With her mind, even if she gets lost in her thoughts, those moments usually pass quickly. The good thing about an image is that it captures a moment and makes it eternal. I wonder what it is she thinks about seeing those fireworks explode.
And there you have it. Those are the special renders for June. I know they say you shouldn't have fovorites, but I do believe they turned out better than the ones of May. Idk, maybe I just like summer.

Someone recently shared a post of another dev which talked about something interesting, but when I clicked on it, Patreon didn't let me view it unless I became a member of this guy's Patreon.
Okay, fine. I became a member. I wanted to read this post.
And ever since I receive E-Mail notifications for a game/channel that I couldn't give two shits about.
What did I do? I opened Patreon. I thought I unckhecked all the notifications. A week later... Another E-Mail. I'm kind of pissed at that point. I like it when things are simple. So I decide, fuck it, I'm going to unfollow this creator.
Why does it take me 3 minutes to find a button with which I can unfollow said creator, skillfully avoiding the dozens of buttons allowing me to "upgrade" my membership? Yeah I know that this shit works. It also works at annoying the living fuck out of people. I once was interested in a service, opened up their website, and nowhere on that website did it say how much the subscription service actually cost me. All I could do was sign up for a 14 day free trial, at the end of which they might have been so kind as to tell me how much it would cost me to continue their service.
Idk, if they would have told me at that point, because I was so disgusted by their buisness practice, I didn't even sign up for the 14 day free trial.
^^ Okay, maybe I wouldn't be as annoyed if your answer to my innitial question ends up being "No, of course we can view your public posts, even without creating an account and becoming a member."
Otherwise fuck Patreon. What is this shit? Are they really so down bad that they have to optimize the living daylight out of everything? Come and sell your posts. Become a member. Receive E-Mail notifications. Upgrade your membership. Have you heard that you can buy posts now?
God, I'm as capitalist as people come, and even I all of a sudden think it's wonderful that you need to put a link at the bottom of E-Mails that makes it easy to unsubscibe from certain unwanted newsletters.
Yeah, well... Let's shift the mood a little. Look at the image that comes along with this post. Hot, right? Well, if you didn't know any better you might think I've desinged episode 7.5 of A Foreign World specifically so I can practice creating renders where girls bite on their lips.
Anyway, that's enough about the game. The update will come out in two weeks. Give or take a week, depending on translators and beta-testers.

Don't know if this is talked about Megan the fox. Amber said she has a curse that when she is in human form, she still has a tail and ears. But at the park and fitting room there is no tail and ears.
Both is true. Being in her fox form takes Megan slight concentration and some energy. She doesn't like her tail and ears, so she learned how to hide them in her human form, so she appears like any other person. This also takes concentration and energy, but it's not really worth mentioning. The hardest thing is still transforming between forms, and she would need to change form a lot to be out of stamina.

Didn't you make a post earlier today saying the update won't be out for another week because you are sick or something like that?
Who said that? I didn't say that. Surely, I wasn't just feeling sick for an hour and then got bored, so I finished the update anyway. Surely, that's not what happened. Guys... Can we move on from that? It wasn't the best start into the morning.
Anyway, I received the Chinese translation, and I did the German translation. This time around Swedish, and Spanish will come with a patch later on. I know some of you guys rely on it, but most play the English version, and I didn't want to keep this update on the shelve for another week before publishing it.
Because tomorrow I'm going on vacation. And I'm telling you, publishing the update then would be out of the question. I might do some writing inspired by the sun at the mediterranean sea, but that's about it. I hope there are no game breaking bugs in this update, because... Yeah it won't be fixed until two weeks from now. But I can ease your mind, this version of the game has been tested, so things should be fine.
Have fun exploring this update. For once I added some spicy scenes. I know you're not used to that, but at some point A Foreign World will have to live up to its genre.

I didn't even see the steam update, went on automatically most likely, wouldn't have noticed myself before seeing your post here. I'm glad I did, it wasn't too long but had great content with the girls.Well ... for me it was just luck that i wanted to look whats new on Steam when i saw the Update.

The only wish i have, is that Tiger fixes the Savegame Folder problem. Because the Save ends always in images/save where the save function cant find the save.

Well, maybe it's because i clear sometimes the appdata .. .renpy save folder. When no save is in the app bla folder it won't find the Downloaded save in the game/images/save folder ... normally it should be game/saves

That's a rather fast update, 7.0 was a month or two ago iirc, and I really appreciate it, because I genuinely enjoy the story and want more of this.

Key found something out after testing and looking ... was a surprise ... There are no cloud saves for this VN ... the images/saves folder looks like its one from the Dev himself, because this are def not mine. So the Only thing i can say now ... DO SAVE BACKUPS from this vn if you have it on Steam ... The Games saves are in the right directory but the don't get up in the cloud ... soooo if you delte the game folder in the steam folder and the save in the app..... folder the saves are gone.
Hope that Tiger will look into it so we have our saves secured in the steam cloud.
BTW. Update was nice.

This is actually on point for where they are from....their entire societal structure where they are from is based on essentially super harems. If anything this is entirely normal.

I think there was a missing variable check in this update, Cecilia was talking to the MC and accused him of sleeping with all the girls and the MC said he was and what is the problem. This issue is in my save I've turned down all the girls and only have a relationship with the fiance. But Cecilia ripped into the MC still even though my save didn't have any relationships.
