The second one. I think the other way around would be more like wake-up sex? :unsure: You know, because if MC doesn't wake up, there's nothing to show, and if he does, it's technically not sleep sex anymore.

Yeah, I don't know how exactly you'd do that one. It's a shame, because visiting you while you're sleeping is a classic succubus thing to do.
Hmm, that gives me an idea; you could do something with sleep paralysis or with his powers letting him watch from the outside. He 'wakes up', but can't move or speak, and Rae blows him and/or rides him. He finishes (one or more times), then drifts off again while she continues to work him. In the morning either she's gone and he wonders if it was a dream, or she's cuddled up to him and you have a brief good morning bit.
That sounds more interesting to me that sneaking into a girl's room and fucking her. That can make a good scene if it focuses on giving her pleasure and really good dreams, of course.
And off topic from sleep sex a little it would be nice to have more wake-up sex. We've had it a couple of times as part of a story event, but a chance for the girls to do it any morning if their intimacy and lewdness are high enough would be good.

This is probably in my top 5 games of all time, and it's not even finished yet. Caitlin's thighjob loop made me drool all over my keyboard. You deserve a lot more recognition and patrons, keep being awesome!
Not gonna lie, that scene was hot as fuck. Though Azraesha is still top waifu for me :p

That's good. He's supposed to be learning to control his powers, controlling the house seems a natural part of that.

you and runey are 2 of my favorite devs on this site, house in the rift and harem hotel are such amazing stories so far, not even taking into account the sex. i like how each character has their own uniqueness to them, and the MC is just blank enough in his responses to make it feel like im there. cant wait for more ^_^

ZanithOne, a couple of questions:

Aside from liking this game overall, your renders and animations are particularly good. I'm presently redoing some renders in an early stages game I'm making and am wondering about some technical details of your work.

- What rendering software are you using? (my guess is maybe Honey Select, which I am not using)
- What hardware are you using? (not too sure I could match your graphics quality and keep a reasonably timely work progression with the hardware I presently use, even if I did not have another job)
- What render settings are you using? (your answer here might not mean that much to me, depending on which software - I'm using Daz and mostly rendering with 3DL)
- Animations: how many frames (I know I could probably just look inside the game to answer this, but I have not yet done so), and do you pose and render each frame or use automated animation features of your software? And I try to learn new tricks and such from other people's works to help improve the quality of my own, and from the general quality of your animations, I find the POV movement adds a realistic touch - how have other people responded to this aspect?
- Time: the previous questions all partly come together here, as already mentioned, I'm not too sure I could make reasonably timely progress and get the same level of quality renders

Of course, all apologies to the :mad: trolls if I missed any of these already being answered :devilish:

While there many noteworthy games out there, at this point I'm mostly looking at Runey's Harem Hotel (aside from enjoying the game, it has been an excellent framework example for me to dig into the code for how to do a lot of the things I want in my own work) and A House in the Rift for your stellar graphics work (the whole thing is wonderful, but I have seen only a few games whose graphics quality are on par with yours, and not sure I've seen any others whose animations are, although Lewd Island has pretty noteworthy animations as well).

Thanks for all the kind words! Yes, my renders are done in HS, it is a Unity-based environment, rendering is done in real time, so I'm afraid my answer won't really apply to your work. For starters, it doesn't really have any render settings. That said, thanks to some awesome folks, Joan6694 and Keitaro in particular, the modded studio is somewhat usable, much more than the vanilla offering, at least. There is a way to render animations frame-by-frame in engine now, without relying on external capture tools (yes, it was this bad before), and a set of tools allowing you to make keyframe animations.

My rig is a bit outdated now, really old Core i7 (37xx series, I think), GTX980. SSD helps a lot, though. That said, it's enough for Unity-based editors, and as I mentioned before, frame-by-frame rendering of animations doesn't put too much strain on the hardware, it's not raytracing.

On animations in general, I'd say it's about 40/60, I do use premade animation loops, but then I modify those with keyframe IK animations, adjustments, sometimes using built-in physics simulations, and, of course, animating the camera. Camera movement in general garnered almost universally positive feedback, so I can wholeheartedly recommend you to do that. It takes a lot of time to set it up and synchronize it with other animations in HS, but should probably be easier in Daz or other fully featured 3D suite.

On time, I don't think you can really compare our workflows. I'm spending anywhere from 3 to 6 hours on setting up a single animation loop, but then it takes less than an hour to render 10 seconds of animation in 4K 60fps. Then the raw footage is off to Premiere and in half an hour or so I have my finished loop. I'm not super experienced with proper 3D software, but I would guess that rendering 10 seconds of animation in any raytracing renderer without the benefit of a render farm would take days.

I wish you luck with your work, sorry I can't be more of a help, but different software and all that.

Scratching my head at what you mean exactly but I'll try to answer.

First he said poll, not pool. All of the fetishes are gonna be in the final game. It's only to decide what's prioritized next in the development process.

But in case you did understand and you mean having too many fetishes will push people away. I don't think so. In the end the more variety the more people you can get interested. Especially if the content someone absolutely wouldn't want to see is optional, which is already the case with one of them.

Also, nothing extreme is planned to happen as far as I know. No NTR, no scat, no gay (male on male) content. All the stuff a lot of people like to bitch about being in games.

People bitch about those for good reason. Now, I'm not saying that people with those fetishes shouldn't have products catered to their tastes, just that such fetishes tend to be the focus of a small minority while alienating pretty much everyone else, and would best be served with their own dedicated projects.

The Japanese are good at this, so I don't understand why so many Western developers fail to grasp how to compartmentalize and keep pushing the "blockbuster for everyone" mentality (and not just with porn games). Keep stuff separate, but don't marginalize everyone and everyone's happy, because they all get catered to and nobody is stepping on anyone's toes.

And may God help any developer dumb enough to mix harem and NTR, that's just asking for trouble.

I'm not saying people are wrong to not like things. In fact all the things I mentioned are things I don't like myself so I understand perfectly. Although I must say when it's just a msall part of a game or especially avoidable. The complaints are kind of dumb I think.

The point remains, the most extreme thing that's in or planned to be in the game so far is very light femdom/maledom. And the femdom's avoidable and can be replaces by more vanilla scens with the same character.

The characters currently in the game are far from the only ones that are gonna be in it. There's a few more bedroom locked in that house that are gonan have girls in them later. Right now Zanith is mostly focused on the characters that are already present and moving the plot forward.
