Ren'Py - A House in the Rift [v0.7.12r3] [Zanith]

this is a solid game, especially when it comes to its animations, my god are they the best I've ever seen. and the story is extremely compelling and really sucked me in at the start.

the only reason this isn't a 10/10 is that I think it gets waaaaaaaaay to complicated way too quickly, it had me at the start and I was excited to learn more about what was going on but just really out of nowhere it gets extremely complicated and hard to follow.

if you don't care story this game is an 11/10. if you like complex and deep narrative's 11/10, if you just want something simple with good animations 8/10 I still recommend giving it a try

AHITR is my favourite hentai game of all time. Among all the renpy with 3d model, this game is by far the greatest. Animation is unlike any other 3d renpy game. Its smooth and the camera doesn't stay in one place makes it better for me. The model looks good especially the succubus girl. the sex scene is sexy af. The story is interesting and funny. I rate it 11/10. Good job and good luck

Overall 9.5/10 , easily one of the best VN game I've played and a fine addition to my "homework" folder.
You get to laugh, to fap but most importantly to have fun with the game. The best part for me is the heartwarmingly story that you get with each character. (a bit rapey but that's my jam!)
Cursed Zanith for making me fell for these game characters and now I've to become a patron. I came to fap not to feel, damn it.

Excellent and compelling story line. Deep character growth (newest L scenes and development notwithstanding). Enjoyable H scenes. Consistent updates and excellent communication between the community and developer.

I don't usually play VNs but this one is pretty damn good, it ticks all the good aspects for it to be good game, it's uncesored, has pretty good animations, good and beliveable story, great characters and setting.

Story: 4/5 Overall decent enough, but the actual characters dialogue is great, especially the banner girl.

Art: 3/5 Standard 3D screenshot stuff, but very cute models.

Sound: Sorry couldn't tell ya, I play everything on mute like a savage.

Gameplay: Standard free roam at certain times, but it is constrained so you wont get lost, also has an in game map for quick travel and girl location. Very little grind, but "what to do next" can be kinda vague sometimes.

The characters and the animations are decent but the dialog/writing is abysmal. Weird and clunky phrases followed by awkward descriptions of situations just yanks all the fun out it, reads like it was written by freshman in Highschool.

70% of the game is 3D image stills with text boxes and you can only ignore so much of it before your enthusiasm for the game goes limp(pun intended).

I tried to pick up the game like a few months back but never actually had the desire to continue the prologue. Played the game today when I was kinda in the middle of a lot of work and deadlines and it really made me feel sad cuz I really want to chill like the main character in the middle of nowhere with some cute girls lolol
On the other hand, the story is interesting, the girls are pretty well-written and the animation is *chef kiss*

Great fun. lots of content, awesome characters. This was my first "lewd" game and I'm hooked. I'm also holding others up to this same standard and very few make the grade. I went and supported their Patreon after getting half way through.

Definitely one of the best games out there, especially the animation, the developers definitely nails what most honey select animation usually fails at "the fucking scene" usually the dicks and pussy are misaligned somehow, but this game really nails it. And the story is pretty interesting as well... 20/10 I wish the update could come sooner, cause this is the game I was really waiting for.

The cast of the girls are great, and the music goes well with scenes. The story however is not great at all but if you rarely play adult games then you might enjoy it. I am giving this 3 stars because of the bad story and average visuals. The animations are great though.

An interesting idea for a game and well written with good animations yet I didn't find any fapable content. animation are (so far) mostly about HJ,TJ,BJ, peeking on underwear or peeking in the showers. there are some actuall sex animation but all you can do is play them at different speed. Plus, sadly I dont find the girls in this game attractive. not ungly or anything but not attractive either.

No doubts the prettiest and most polished animations around here, I guess everyone that plays the first 5 minutes will agree. Also, there is a real good writing and pace to support the animation quality. The girls are all interesting and attractive, each a in their own way, and the relationship development flows real nice, slow without being grindy.
A real 5/5. Author put a lot of effort into this, and it shows. Amazing work.

I watched this game since it was posted, waited for more content, kept stalling always waiting for more, and recently i started it, but didn't expected to be addicting, played it through almost in one go, everything just clicks together. The characters diverse personality, the humor between Rae and the MC is 10/10, im sucker for bad puns. Every character have different charms to themselves, and there are variety in body types as well. I'm still hoping another fit body tough, with smaller frame, like Lyriel, or bit bulkier, but with abs. But the cast is versatile enough already, so im not complaining. The story is keep you curious, don't really get boring, quite the opposite. And the updates are coming out like crazy, definately one of the devs whos earned their patrons. Keep up the good work Zanith!

truly amazing i tried this on a whim and fell in love, its got a lot of emotion for a free roam with only a home, but from a development standpoint this leaves a ton of time to flesh out characters and their story's and you really see that with animated scenes, a great into, and even having played through everything it had i really cannot wait for more! i will be watching this one closely so try it out! you wont regret it

Super well executed game, devs definitely know what they're doing. The only downside I can mention is that their talents are kinda wasted on something so low brow. But shitz's great man for what it is. Very competent writing.

I've been waiting 4 years for this game to finish so I could replay it. It was pretty long when I reviewed it 5 years ago. Now it's so fucking ridiculously long I could NEVER justify putting any time into this title now. DEVS: END YOUR GAMES. DEVELOPING A GAME ENDLESSLY JUST MAKES A GAME WORSE AND WORSE.

Didn't expect it in the first few minutes of gameplay but it's really good.
The choices are well made, remind of Mass Effect or even better.
The characters are lovely too and unlike some other games you can decide if you want to do it.

Probably the best harem game I have ever played.
For me the big point in its favor is that, unlike others game of its kind, you do not need to be always in the right place at the right time. Sure there are some little things you may miss but you're not skipping storylines by mistake.

The dialogue is interesting, the girls really compelling, the story keeps you going and the animation/art, while not top notch, is pretty damn good, particularly the animation.

The scenes with the girls feel alive, and there is a decent amount of depth in the choices you can make to get closer to a girl. Also not to be underestimated is the choice of ambients and girl's clothes, which, for me, was what put the cherry on top of the cake.

I'm really looking forward to continue playing the next releases.
