the only things i installed are universal renpy mod (only edited girls stats) and unren for rollback, quicksave, and skip

excuse me what? unren only enables rollback, quicksave, and skip (none of which i used in the scene) and urm only edits things when i personally edit them. neither of them had any impact on the scene because i used neither of them during that scene. its not always the mods that make a crash happen in a game.

Although it should be mentioned that changing the girls' stats outside of their usual realm (dunno whether you did that) will cause problems later on. In a circumstance like yours the game shouldn't crash because of changes but they can. Though I agree that it is probably not the case, always suspect any non game changes as at least possible culprits.

An other thing to consider is that Zanith uses a vertion of RenPy that he modified a bit so it does not work with the usual tools you can use with it. I am not proeficient in programing so I can't tell how much of an impact it can have. for example if I am not mistaken the modifications to the engin already prohibit the game from functionning with joyplay on android phones.

Zanith answered this just a few posts ago, scroll back a few messages or Search for it.
I realize I'm in the minority, but, I'm still looking forward to more Yona content. Who knows, she might end up being
one of the best green characters in the game.

Holy shit, THIS actually solved the problem!
I was going into the library and then time-skipping through the whole week while inside the library. I'm pretty sure I actually did two weeks back-to-back just in case I'd somehow fudged it and missed a time-slot.
Turns out that I had to time-skip outside the library and then enter to trigger the event. I'll have to keep that in mind for other similar things.
Just read that Zanith updates this game roughly every four weeks; had no idea that the update schedule for this game is so frequent, that's amazing! 
Now at least I know I can expect some regular progress from this amazing game.
Also, am I the only one who is totally in love with Rae and Lyriel, for different reasons...?

Nope; they are my personal favorites as well, at least so far.
I doubt she will replace either of them, but I do want to see what happens with the Yona arc. So much potential before she turned into this docile doormat. I get why it happened, the story made it clear, but I really hope she gets her spine back.

I lost my saves, so I decided to replay the game from the very beginning.
Seriously, in terms of dialogue, characters and writing, this is probably one of the best games on the site (if not the best).
My compliments to the writer.
In my opinion, the best character is Rae. Design, character, dialogue - everything is perfect.
Lyriel is the best in terms of events, cuteness and personality progress in the course of her story.
I didn't quite understand why the author needed to add Yona. She looks completely out of place.
In my humble opinion, a character would be more suitable here, who could try to challenge Rae's leadership. Who could compete with her in knowledge, experience and humor.
I love her, she is perfect, but I would like some kind of challenge for her so that she understands that she can lose the title of "main wife")
I would love to watch the dialogues, quarrels, jokes between two equally smart characters trying to challenge the primacy in the harem)

I think that the women are not in the house for what they give the MC. In a larger case, being in the house is about what the MC gives them (Not in that way!) so that they can grow (also, not in that way!). For Rae, it seems a lot about allowing her some respite, to allow her to discover herself without all the duties she had. Even Naomi is growing, but I'd say the process is more about her relationship with Cait than the MC. Yona just has a long way to go to find her own balance.
I kind of agree with that, i would like to see someone making Rae actually jealous, after all we never seen her like that.
But even if the creator doesnt do that this still is my favorite adult game.

Game like this shouldn't have missable scenes imo. It's frustrating that I missed one scene with Rae, the one called "pre-reveal service". I've managed to unlock all of the scenes except that one. Still a great game though.

I don't want to miss any scenes either, especially w Rae.....
There's also the choice of being able to intentionally skip scenes if you happen to not be fond of a particular character or story line. If I'm required to go through each and every scene then, again, it's more KN than game.
I realize that no matter what choices we make the script is still guiding us but at least this way it lets me think I'm doing it....lol
