My God.
I tried this game on a half-hearted whim, just looking for a time-killer.
I had NO idea about what I was about to experience.
And wow, do I mean EXPERIENCE.
You know, like many here, even though I do mostly lurking as opposed to posting, I've tried sooooo many games over the years, of a variety of types/ideas/execution/game engines. Soooooo many!
For me, mostly, Renpy games can be fun, but are often too linear, and seem to get bulky and laggy when there is even a few animations. And I've always preferred DAZ over HS or it's ilk. And yet again, whenever posters complain about sex appearing too fast in a game, or arguing there isn't enough story or that the characters appear flat in personality, I don't post... I just sit back, and think, "This is a porn game. Why are you complaining about porn? Why bother with deep experiences or personalities? This is all just for a fun yank, and let's be happy and done with it. Want a mindblowing gaming experience? Log into your steam account!" And I chuckle, and move on.
And then, this game appears.
People, this game CHANGED ME. Changed me. I mean, I DID experience it. WAAAY more than play it. I felt it.
Immediately, I fall in love with believable, likable characters, each so adorably individual, and with thier own voice. Thier own mannerisms. I mean, I actually feel like I know these characters, in that way that we might get to know the characters portrayed in a beloved television series. Immediately! Right from the very first moments of staring this game up!
And the rendering is sooo... Delicious!... Immaculate!... That my previous dislike of HS style stuff? DONE FOR. FINITO. This game is gorgeous and so are it's characters.
And when you combine that with thier wonderfully crafted personalities above? I honestly get a vibe I've never, ever gotten from a game about sex before. I don't want to just immerse myself in how they are sexually treated, I don't want to just watch the MC use them in every way that allows me to see all the rendered/animated goodies for them so I can have a good wank... I want to care for them while doing that. Care for them. This doesn't happen to me, I don't play these sorts of games that way.
But I do, for the characters in this game. Even that elf girl, such a piss-ant in the very beginning... But even with such little content that she has at this time, I just want... Well, I want to see her blossom into a loving young woman, that understands HOW to be loved, and how to FEEL that love. Even if she becomes a total bondage sub, I want to care for her, Dom/sub style... Ensuring not only her sexual education, but also protecting her heart and helping her understand her own feelings.
I'm telling you, I just want to hug tightly EVERY character in this game. I don't just want to have my way with them sexually... I mean, of course I want that!... But, maybe even more powerfuly than that, I want to get to know them more. To care of them. Help them grow. Provide for thier needs. Like, every minute I'm playing this... Even during the lewd parts, this game... And the characters in it... Touch my heart.
I know this sounds wierd, and more than a little, shall we say, unmanly? Overly-emotional maybe (certainly for a porn game!)...?
Well, I don't care. This game IS touching my heart. It's characters ARE divine and loveable.
And yes, while I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to tie each one up in complicated bondage positions and have my perverted way with every hole in thier bodies, I can say that while each character arouses me in that sexual way we all come to expect... And hope for... From games gained from this site, I really have to admit finding that I feel, want, hope for SO MUCH MORE for each of these characters, too.
I think, that this game has taught me why so many of you out there look at the 'common' sex games and scoff.
This game is exactly what I've been missing.

An interesting plot, but the graphics are a weak part.

I am having two problems.
First, I cannot seem to find Lyriel in the ground floor bathroom, which is according to the cell app what should happen. When I go there she is never there. I already have the discussion with her and things are already smoothly. So I don't know what I am doing.
Second, I can no longer get to the star dream. There is never the option when I go to sleep. I did go there twice, first I have no idea so I could not unlock the key. Now I have the key, but I cannot get into it.

You mean get into the dream? Just go into the Dreamer Pro app and enable it. If you mean the actual sex scene, the guide is a couple of posts above.
Would you mind elaborating? What kind of problem?
The event won't trigger if you actually wait for her in the bathroom, you need to be outside. But if you can, please post your save here or PM it to me, I'll have a look.
And to get the space dream again, just go into the dreamer pro app and enable it again, it self-disables. I will change this mechanic in v0.4.4 or v0.4.5.
I played for a long time.
It seems to be ignored that this is the "first time."

What would you replace it with? Unless there are going to be very few dreams, there needs to be some interface better than a normal RenPy menu to select them.
Sorry, I still don't really understand. Do you mean that she doesn't acknowledge her first time with you? That's kinda intentional. She's a succubus who lived quite a long life by human standards, and she's very experienced.
At the very least I will add an additional app screen for each dream with a enable/disable toggle and a checklist. The menu will most likely stay, but I have a few ideas how to make it a bit more manageable. Ideally, I'd like to do an animated graphical thing, but it's not something that I am willing to spend time on right this moment.

I am glad that I was able to tell you about the problem. Hope you can finish the game. (And maybe even upgrade the models)
Let me make one more remark. You give us different characters (magician, pirate) and then dress them in modern clothes almost depriving "cosplay". Perhaps you should consider giving them the opportunity to wear more familiar clothes.

Jokes aside, though, I gotta say that I really do love her. When Lyriel was taking advantage of her, I was so genuinely annoyed that I absolutely could not find a way to enjoy her; took some willpower to convince myself to grind up affection with breakfast, hah!
But yes, wonderful job on Caitlin. Some of the most pleasant characterization I've seen in any of these kinds of games. Here's hoping for more content of her!

Sorry I haven't been reacting to the new updates! Life's been horrible of late, hope you're doing better than me. But just downloaded and played the new update and I'm loving Lyriel's character so far! I hoped there would be more when you said sex scene, but I guess a dream would be good for now. =p
