When was the last time the mainstory was touched? Although flimsy as it is, it feels like ages that things actually moved forwards

So far there have been some threads that broke and there was that dude who stared at you from the top of a building in a dream, and then the guy on the bench who asked if you were interested in power and riches or something like that, oh and when the first thread broke and Cait did her rituals, MC and Lyriel both felt like something was watching. I think that's all for the main "why are we stuck in this house" story. It's possible that some of the Lis stories may intersect with the main story but we've seen no sign of it yet. So it's been a good few years since anything happened with the main story.

Lyriel's also my favorite by far, which is why it stood out to me, I feel like she only gets this way when she's with Cait, they feed off each other's brain cells, but spit them out instead of swallowing

Like, compare to Lyriel's morning DT scene, sure she grumbles and moans at first a little, but it doesn't take her 4 days to actually do it, you tell her to take it deeper, she says make me, and its on. She doesn't get all "uhhh what? what are you saying? huh? like what?"

I think its funny and cute, it also gives some variety to the scene and it makes perfect sense with both of their personalities because both get nervous and are inexperienced, they can atleast get some confidence when they are alone but both together is something new and they end up stepping on each other's toes

I'm loving this game so far, but can anybody point me in the right direction or tell me why it keeps crashing on me. It gets real annoying...

Seems like it happens when I either scroll wheel backwards to see an outcome of a different choice, or even click too fast. Never had this happen in any other game with this engine. Here's a crash log:

I have some Python programming experience, but I can't explain this. What it says is that the object renpy.ast.RPY, which should be a class (it's defined in the block following the line "class RPY(Node):" in file renpy/ast.py) is something else unexpected instead. Probably undefined. I don't know enough to make a guess as to why this happens.

Generally speaking, I think weird errors like this typically have one of these reasons:

1. You installed an outdated (or broken) mod. (Mods normally say for which version they are.)
2. You installed a 'universal' mod that happens to be incompatible to this particular game.
3. You applied a differential update (patch) to an old version of the game, and your version was too old for that patch.
4. You extracted or copied a new version of the game over an old one instead of deleting the old version first. (Save files are stored redundantly in two locations precisely so you can delete the old version without losing your saves, or move the the game directory to another computer without losing your saves.)

If you don't remember doing any of these things, you could check if there is more than one Ren'Py version in the game directory, subdirectory lib. If that is the case, it is an indication that you or whoever packaged the version you installed may have done something like 4 above.

ZanithOne, I waited a while to pick this up again so I haven't read through the comments to see if this was brought up yet, but it looks like your background helper is a little borked. If you spank Rae in the first morning and ask her name the background stays static with her at the fridge.

I feel like Rae is such wasted potential as a succubus, they may as well have just made her a demon, period.

At the start of the game I think they meant for it to be more "porny" then it ended up, so succubus was the obvious choice, but they've done literally nothing with that and instead focused on more classically demonic narrative tropes. There's practically nothing succub-esque about her. She doesn't have any crazy sex magic skills, her scenes are all completely vanilla.

You have Rae teasing the player with shapeshifting into Miranda, Harley Quinn, DVA very early, but then it never comes up ever again.

You have Rae telling the player that she exudes some sex aura, but then recent updates seem to have retconned that into her having lied about that?

And weirdly.. she turns down sex a lot. It's not as blatant with other characters because they don't usually give you the option to ask for it in scenes, but there must be at least a dozen scenes of her entering your room naked at night to tell him something and then denying the player, or you wake up with her after a nice date and she brushes you off because "you're both soooo busy today" (doing what???), etc etc. I get that you obviosuly cant make a new scene everytime, but then why even give the player the option to ask for it?

For heaven's (or hells?) sake, she doesn't even have more sexual stamina than MC, during her repeatable sex scene you knock her tf out. Shouldn't MC be the one asking for a break from sex with the literal sex demon and not the other way around?

IDK, am i missing stuff? are there any sex scenes that really take advantage of the fact that she's a succubus? Changing the size of her assets, glamouring herself, magic extra hands, lust brainwash kiss, idk, anything?

do you have the matching update file? If you have the compressed, u need the compressed update, like wise the hi-res update goes with the hi-res. If you try to install them with the wrong one you can get that msg, I know cuz i did it before.

If that's not the case I have no idea.

I cant for the life of me find out how to get the ball rolling with Cait. Her Intimacy is at 10 and it says to visit her in the library, but every time I do I talk to her and nothing happens. Studying doesn't do anything, the Headpat/Ass slap doesn't do anything either.

I'm confused. Other than two events, one with Lyriel and cait, the other with Yona, is there no other new content? rae, naomi, and blair all started the update with "end of route for current version." And once the lewds for the other three happen, they are also up to date?

honestly I feel like he is pushing to the end faster than i'f like... we also need to take into account perception. How fast is all this actually happening? IF you're like me you have over 600 in game days because you held ontosave since you first started playing the game...years ago. Yet if youstart playing from scratch at day zero just how many day actually pass in game to get to the current end patch? Maybe 2-3 months?

I started playing for the first time ever with 0.7.20r1. That took me 204 days (my last save was the "Day 205" title card screen) to finish every last thing because there are so many events that only trigger randomly and only in the evening.
Playing the new 0.8.01r1 release added a single day to my save list. (IOW, my current save is on the "Day 206" title card.)

I suspect that you downloaded the patch into the wrong folder. It needs to be in the same folder as the one holding the game's "game", "lib" and "renpy" folders as well as the ahitr.exe file. Just move the patch into the correct folder and run it again.

Same here, i even restarted from Scratch and got to the same Error when talking to Cait in the Library for the first time. Its the newest version.
After that the Quest ist locked to ch 2.

Can anyone please send the renpy and lib folders? I think i just deleted some of the files and the game is crashed.
