Reasons for the delay:
1. Longer scenes than previous chapters.
2. Scene Variations based on paths - Vanilla, Hotwife, Cheating.
3. Closure to main plot, and to some recurring characters.
4. Most importantly, LIFE.
With that said, I think we are doing fine with the progress considering the amount of efforts that's being put for the upcoming chapter, the last one for this title.

I started playing this game and thought I might voice my impressions, if anyone cares.
I really love how the game starts, you can feel the couples connection and love towards one another. They feel real, genuine, imperfect and not cardboard cutouts, it definitely adds to the experience. I'm starting to like them. Very well done, they help each other through life, the way it should be.
On the other hand, the therapist mechanic is awful, because the odds are astronomically high that the tasks she assigns them will cause chaos and even permanently damage their relationship. This brought me out of the story, since the only therapists who would do this, are delusional psychopaths themselves. Hated this. It's like discovering a beloved pediatric doctor is a child molester. Nasty and repulsive to the counseling profession.
Some really nice emotional spots so far; so much so that I'm not looking forward to the crash and burn to come. I kind of feel like stopping the game while they are still happy...

The therapist is there to help them get more out of their relationship. How they go about that is up to them. When they decide to get into the swinging side of things, she helps them along with this. Oh I didn’t remember her being a sex therapist, for some reason I thought she was a marriage counselor, but she always tells Mary to cheat on you if you are or write in the diary that she cheated. How’s the next update coming along, think it might be ready by end of August?

Yeah, sex therapist. Yeah, if you are cheating on Mary, and especially not admitting to it, then she tells Mary to take more drastic measures. Never actually tells Mary to cheat, but to find a way to make MC understand how Mary feels. So.....
coming along well. Still have several scenes left. Not sure if end of August or not, but I am pretty sure by end of September, there are so many variables in this last chapter that we have to consider. And that means each scene usually ends up being 2 or 3 scenes, depending on the choices that have been made in the past, or are made in this chapter. It ends up adding up to quite a bit more than we expected, scene wise. But most of the larger scenes are done. now doing some smaller ones, and then have to fill in the missing pieces between them, transitions from one to the other, that kind of thing.
Already up around 2000 renders, and that isn't including animations, which we have quite a few of.
And I have had to create a bunch of environments for this chapter. I had no idea how difficult it was to find a hotel stairwell worth a damn. So had to make my own.

I spent my 5 seconds to mention a "NOTE:" and give some context about the Exclusive scenes. Maybe a little reading of the post would've given a clarity on these scenes?
You plan to include these as a separate DLC or something when you eventually try for a Steam release after the final chapter. Not gonna lie tempted to sub just for more Mary but also a bit on the fence since im only really interested in 2 of the scenes shown in the screenshot so might just wait if I do sub for them Steam took alot of my money this month lol

One thing we have discussed, and will have to adjust, is making sure this scene is shown to be even more consensual by Mary. She gives her permission for it to happen, but we need to make sure it is very clear she agrees to it. Steam is apparently cracking down on stuff like this.
