only on my asshole save I did last night but saves where I wasn't being an asshole she lost. Not sure about my cheating saves yet. I actually thought her winning or not was gonna be on a choice during the Scavenger hunt at first.
Ok, glad to know at least someone got it. It is the exhibitionist variable that triggers it, and we made it high for a reason.
Totally get how it was written and how everyone has different tastes, I agree with the original poster on some things, not all. Most (if not all) devs always play it as the guy has to be the one to cheat or be an ass before the wife cheats. Then in endings, its always the guy that gets the crappy finish, be a cuck, accept things, or she leaves him and is happy and him miserable. You never see the wife gets called out, tossed out, she is sad miserable has regrets, it was just a mistake type thing (oh ya reality) and dude goes on to his future path happy and his dignity intact. I enjoyed it, and it was actually completed, thats a plus. Cheating path, the story only plays a one sided path.
Ye, that was my main gripe - is that Mary was written to be on this moral pedestal compared to MC (stemming from the fact that you only make decisions as MC). If only there was a possibility of Mary cheating first for whatever (non-innocent) reason, then I would accept it... as is, it requires being a complete asshole. Which, while intended, isn't very compelling.
