Bless your heart. You have missed the whole damn context of the conversation. Your attempted application of ellipsis is pure non sequitur - by your use of that definition, you would suggest all poor grammar is "ellipsis" - you are attempting to justify what is poor and incorrect by saying poor and incorrect is just fine if you apply this term to it. Just admit you're another troll like the other guy and be done with it.
Oh, so you actually can't comprehend what you read. You said "I can run circles around you" but you gave no examples of why it is the way you say it is while I gave multiple examples. Your only arguments so far were: "na-uh, it is the way I said it because I said so", "I'm really smart, like really really smart, like smarter than everybody around here combined. Extra smart." and "Source: I said it." Maybe you should stop "licking your own dick" and jerking off to how intelligent you are and start looking around you. If I missed the context, you had ample opportunity to explain it but you keep regurgitating the same stuff over and over again. What is funnier - after you say that I did not understand the context, you argue exactly the same context that I supposedly "didn't understand". Yes, my application of ellipsis is incorrect because you say so, even when there is an example that is quite similar to this one in the link I posted. Of course. I mean, I gave you all the links and I explained multiple times that the implied subject is singular here. Ellipsis is used to omit words that can be easily understood from the context. The implied subject "it" or "this" can be easily understood from the context of that sentence. If this was an academic thesis, it wouldn't be right to use it because it is informal, but this is a porn forum. The technique exists for a reason. If the omission of a word/group of words (the subject here) that can be understood from the context, which is literally the definition for the ellipsis is a non sequitur for you, then there is nothing else I left to say. Like I said, I provided examples and on a quick google search you can find others, you just want to close your eyes and pretend you are right and the other stuff does not exist. Because there is no way I could make this simpler, in order for your brain to be able to understand it. As I said, the implied subject is "it" or "this" in that sentence and its omission is an ellipsis. Actually, let me try and draw it for you, maybe then, oh you "intellectually blessed" being, will be able to understand it.
X, Y, Z (multiple separate things) -(create)-> A (the whole that is made of X, Y, Z). So X + Y + Z (plural because multiple) = A (singular whole). But A (the singular whole) =It/ This/ This thing/ This fact, etc.
P(erson) 1: I dislike X,Y,Z.
P(erson) 2: [A] doesn't bother me. -> A = IT/ THIS (the singular). A - omitted because any being with a modicum of intelligence can make this correlation and understand it from context, just like I did. Well, any being except an "intellectually blessed" being such as yourself, of course.
SO "[A] doesn't bother me" = "X, Y, Z don't bother me."
So if you say "[IT] doesn't bother me" it is like saying that all those things don't bother you. Only that you are expressing it through the singular whole instead of repeating the multiple subjects. Furthermore, the ellipsis could have also been used on another part of the sentence, such as "[IT] doesn't bother me [that X,Y,Z exist.]"
But as the other guy said, there is no point in arguing with you, you are just a sad troll and bully who wants to feel superior by attacking people for (allegedly) not speaking proper English while hiding behind a computer screen. Oh, and speaking proper English does not necessarily make you smart or "intellectually blessed", nor throwing Latin words into the conversation does. Other people might have another native language and be way smarter than you while not fluent in English (so prone to mistakes). Still, he did no mistakes in his spelling. You are not worth any more of my time and we are also going off topic, you by talking about people's grammar prowess instead of talking about the game, and me by responding to that.
