based on fat receptionist phone, right when you left nicole for work he had taken presumably nicole photo under her towel i suspect they used this material for blackmailing nicole on later update
nevermind i played both route
When MC kick the bar owner and go to restaurant instead, they meet a volleyball girl and see jealous side of nicole
When MC let the owner of the bar stay a bit longer, they will meet kathy, and the douche-bag duo, maybe in future the mc told the whole truth about her husband affair with kathy

maybe it is involved with the military guy on the photo stored in her office desk, it is not clear if he is silvia boyfriend or her brother maybe it just like the common john victim trapped into a debt or problems

The games main female lead is the mother/Nicole if you don't like her maybe don't play the game as the entire premise is set on her.
