Hey everyone, I’m the developer of A Neet’s Adventure

I’ve been reading every comment in this thread since it was created, even though I never posted anything until now. A lot of things I fixed in the past, like several bugs and the art consistency, came directly from reading your feedback and suggestions here.

So I wanted to respond to the main complaints/points I’ve seen the most.

Walking speed, empty maps and the lack of guidance:
In the next update 0.1.15 (coming next week) I’m adding movement items that let you move faster around the map, increasing movement speed by 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and up to 100%.

The big and empty maps: this is mainly because of the future content I’m planning to add. The idea is to fill the city (the maps) with a lot of events spread all over the overworld. When all that is in place, the map size will make a lot more sense. That said, I fully understand that right now they feel empty, especially combined with the current movement speed and no guide

The game is also pretty confusing, since there’s no clear guide or indicator of what you can do. Everything is based on exploring, walking around and interacting with things until something happens. To improve this, I’m planning to add an in-game diary/journal (probably in v0.1.16 or v0.1.17), where Ren will be able to see the events she already completed, the ones she’s missing, and hints on how to unlock them or what she needs to do. This will basically work as an in-game guide. I’ll also be spreading the quest system to the remaining events (the early ones didn’t have it), which should make it much clearer what there is to do and how to do it.

Bugs: I always try to fix them as they appear. I don’t think there are any major game-breaking bugs right now (though there are still some small ones ).

Updates: I try to release updates every 2 to 3 weeks, and they vary in content. Usually I make sure to add at least one new main route event, plus other improvements like quests, skills, random events (like the current Christmas one), dungeons, QoL stuff, etc.

Inconsistent or bad art: I think in the latest updates I managed to fix most of the inconsistency, and the art is much more consistent now, but there are still some events that I need to redraw (especially older events). As for overall art quality, honestly one of the reasons I decided to make a game in the first place was to improve my art.

Some other things I saw mentioned: the game does have a gallery where you can view past events. You can hide the textbox by right-clicking to see the full art, although there’s currently no way to know this in-game since it isn’t explained anywhere

About the general direction of the game: my goal is to make a game with sim elements and player freedom, where Ren can do many different things (streamer, waitress, nun, etc.) while managing her time, money and energy. That’s also why the overworld and maps are as big as they are.

I’m basically open to adding almost any type of content, as long as it fits the game and doesn’t get it taken down :C

And even if I don’t always post here, know that I do read what you write here, and I try to incorporate feedback into the game whenever I can.

ummmmm,please help me with 2 mission objectives

where tf can i find margarita

and how to enter sector G ?????????
The Margarita can be bought at a bar located in Sector G.
To unlock Sector G, you need 300+ Lust and then go to sleep. The next day, a social media post should appear, and clicking it will unlock Sector G. Keep in mind that you can only enter Sector G at night.

Note: there’s currently a bug in this version(0.1.13) that prevents the post from appearing even if you have 300 Lust v_v
This is already fixed in version 0.1.14, which will be released publicly in 4-5 days.
