Just to clarify, the storylines for the main girls will mostly be self contained. So when I say “finish the project,” I don’t necessarily mean wrapping up all 12 of them. It could just mean fully fleshing out Leah’s story and giving it a proper conclusion with multiple endings.

A common criticism I see is that the game still feels like it's in its infancy stages, but the truth is, it has around 12 hours of content already, and if I add another 15–20 hours, that should be enough to complete Leah’s arc. And the overall game length would add up to what I would consider a respectable 25-30 hours long experience.

The only things left hanging would be the side characters, but their stories can be expanded later on with the introduction of new girls in future updates.
Concluding the Leah sequence would actually at least add closure til the next girl owns you. That could be a great resting spot and would probably get rid of the infancy stage feeling once the first boss winning and losing routes are completed. And, it seemed like Leah was only an electric resistant armor piece or 2 away from defeating her. Maybe learning a ground type attack or 2 could be a cool way of gaining an advantage over her electric defense. But again, like we have been saying, you’re the one that can best answer this and we’ll support you with whatever you decide to do.

Might be a silly question but, do I ACTUALLY have to beat Leah in a fight before the time limit?
I ask because there's a lot of shit to do with the other characters aside from just her.

personally ending leah's story would be more then satisfying conclusion for game 1. after that if you want to continue you can just start game 2 where you can only start it if you beat lech with no relationship to decrease variations and just continue side girl story's. i do think most side girls have more then enough content for game 1 if you will go these way. there story's can be stretched out for multiply main girl's story's. and evne if you do not do other games at least having leach story should be satisfying.
