Such a shame this one had to end up like that. This game could easily be my top-3 if not for the unfortunate end of its development.
I found most of the love interests pretty well developed, likeable and last, but not least - genuinely unique. Writing fits the story perfectly, seems not too savvy at first but I really enjoyed Valerie and Aurora and their stories. Other girls have the looks (Val does too tbh oowee) but these two just had that sorrow in their eyes (like in my native lang song).

When I see this game, I find myself dreaming what if somebody picked up where it was left off. Yes, it was that good. RIP A.O.A.

WARNING: You can't complete this game. You can get to about 80%, but just as everything takes a real dark turn - the game checks out. Since it's been abandoned, the story ends before it reaches the prominent conclusion.

Oof, someone recommended me this game without telling me the game was abandoned. What a project. I chugged through four chapters to find almost no sex and quite the action-packed story. If you're looking for steamy porn scenes, this is not your game. But if you're a fan of stories (albeit a bit stretched at times), you can play this. I'm reading stories about the developer abandoning the game, possibly even dying? My gosh, how sad to lose such talent. Rest in peace if you are no longer with us.

    A.O.A. Academy

The premsie of the game is nothing too special. Farmboy has family issues and heads to big city in order to develop a new life. I thought the game would be more sex-focused, but it's definitely focused on trauma processing and building relationships. You meet a couple of... damaged individuals in the academy and it's up to you how you handle their trauma.

Graphics are really good, as well as shot selection. Story is pretty action-rich, but borders on unbelievable at times. The characters did eventually grow on me and most of the romanceable girls are really gorgeous. The game might be trying to tell too much in a little time window, but that ambition is also what makes this game memorable for me. The sex is intimacy-heavy and is primarily aimed at gaining trust rather than lustful fucking. People are damaged here and you're trying to seek joy living through all these damages.

My first playthrough went nearly without sex, which goes to show you can really mess things up for yourself. I then took several more plays discovering the different romance options and liked most of them. In the end, I really struggle with not having closure for the struggle - but finding some of the sex scenes does make up for a lot.

Dev was really onto something here and I feel - even though there are a myriad of issues plaguing this game - that it could have gone down to be something extra special. Now it's just an interesting option. But one I enjoyed nonetheless!

Play this if you don't need sex, but like to see sex develop over time. Also, be prepared to be frustrated you can't finish what you started.

I have been looking forward to your return. This is the best game I've ever played. It is estimated that I will leave this place after a while. I really look forward to one day in the future, maybe a year, maybe ten years. I can see a happy ending for Aurora. Thanks.(y)

What I played was very cool and enjoyable with enough gameplay involved in a VN. Great plot. Awesome characters, incredible art and sound. It's sad that is abandoned because it looked so good that really make me wanted to play more.

Renders are amazing. Story is good if not slightly rushed. The girls all have very defined personalities and stories. The MC doesn't come off as a Gary Stu or is epicly dumb. You also aren't banging all of them left and right. The shy girls are shy. The forward girl is forward. The music is great. Jenny is bae.

Best VN games I've ever played.
    Characters really beautiful and perfect.
Story and expressions are really good.

This is my number 1 VN.
Also everything about this is perfect.

Please comeback, I really need this game to be complete version. I'm sure we're always support TLG Games

I really curious about chapter 6 and my Jenny

Solid game game overall, deserves a 4 star, but I have my complaints

    Too much dialog:
A lot of times the dialog just goes on and on. There is a ton of text at each scene before moving on to the next event, it makes me just want to click through and move on which is obviously not good.
Even the sex scenes have too much text, we're always making deep dives into the minds of these characters, in my opinion that really takes away from the scene.

    Constant color filter:
Not sure if anyone else feels this way, but it seems like there's always a filter over the entire VN, making the color feel unnatural and odd.

    Sex scene quality:
    Not too impressed but okay

One of the best games ive played in F95 yet. Story mostly is so compelling and that i missed an entire day playing through it. Renders are amazing as well. Beautiful game, just sad to see it abandoned. The story line could also have choice/chance with most of the girls. for example, if we go for Elizabeth, we cant go for Aurora, and so on.. Choice is good for changing some decisions in game play, not choice of girl.. just saying

Truly a top tier game. Excellent graphics and well polished models. Loved the story and I'm glad this one isn't a fuck feast. Ofc all the girls have eyes for MC but unlike in many games they are taking it slow. Loved the slowburn. Girl's aren't cock worshipping sluts. Each girls have their own personality. They are fun and many of them have troubled past. It's a college VN but unlike many other college VN's this one has a different aura.

That harem tag is recieving, this is not your usual harem game. Some of the girl's path locks out others. Ashley's path locks Jenny's path and vice versa. This applies to other girls too. If you want to know about each girls more have a separate save for each of them. In Jenny's playthrough you can star 2 way relationship between jenny and jade. If you want to explore the game fully play witha WT mod or walkthrough, but mod is better. But play it your own first time. I absolutely loved each girls and their romantic path.

    + Story
    + Well polished beautiful models
    + Slowburn
    + Romance
    + Music
    + Good looking MC

    - Abandoned ( hoping dev will comeback and finish it other wise it will be another gem in the fallen category )

AOA is considered by many to be one of the best AVNs and there are many reasons for this. For one, AOA produces a great triple A atmosphere, similar to some of the best VNs on the market. This is due to the great renders, good music and exciting plot. Lots of characters, maybe too many, but interesting nonetheless.
I say too many, because some of the more interesting protagonists are therefore sometimes only superficially illuminated, which is not ideal, especially when they have dramatic to melodramatic background stories. One simply wishes for more details, more influence and more decisions to really feel a sense of bonding.

On balance, however, AOA definitely deserves five stars, because up until the time of its abandonment it was one of the leading VNs, especially at the aesthetic level. I could have gone into more detail, but the fact that the game was abandoned quite suddenly and without notice in the middle of its development makes that unnecessary. It's a real shame.

If the situation changes again, I will also change my rating. But if the current state is the final point, there is simply too much left unsaid, the characters remain sketches and none of the conflicts have been resolved. That is rather unsatisfactory. I would have preferred a less ambitious VN with an ending.

The story is great, it has drama, comedy, romance, I don't like games with romance because usually they are too cheesy or exagerated but here the dev found the perfect balance.
The girls, all of them are pretty sexy and have different, interesting and marked personalities, you won't hate any of them.
The bad thing, this is not really an harem game, if you choose to romance Ashley that will lock you out of some girls path, if you choose Jenny she will lock you out of Ashley, so you have to play this game like 8 times to unlock all the content of every girl because there are hundred of branchs, if you go to the gym with Valery you can't go to the pool with Jade and Rebecca, so you have to choose with which girl you want to start, and even if you choose to go to the pool you have to choose if you want Jade or Rebecca, you can't get more than a girl at the time and you have to wait until you can persue other girl.
It makes no sense, why in an harem game you will be locked of romance others girl if you are already with one?? And why the MC is so stupid to not want to start a relationship with Ashley when days before he was thinking about that? Why if the MC say that he have feelings for her, he doesn't do anything, but he still persue other girls and even Sung-Ji?
Everything about the way how, when and who you have romance, looks really stupid to me and makes no sense.
And ruins all the experience that an HAREM, (I repeat, H-A-R-E-M because this is supposed to be an harem game), game should give you.
The cellphone app is bad, you open the phone, choose who you want to message and the interface is pretty simple and not really nice, but that is not much a problem, the problem would be that every time that you select "back" to go back and then send a message to someone else the cellphone app close completely, so you have to open again the phone go to the message app, select the other girl, send the message, choose back again and the phone close again, and you have to do everything again, it becomes really tiresome and stupid, other problem in navigation would be when you are in freeroam, the arrows don't help you much because you don't know where are you going, you are following the arrows until you see someone to interact, and no place has a name to know if a door leads to the bath or to hell, some times you could walk from back to front a couple of times because you don't know where the arrows takes you.
Edit: I kept playing and I saw that many decisions or conversations don't make sense, like I meet Clint, but later when you see him again he doesn't recognize you, later you talk with Aurora and you tell her to make and schedule and tell the MC when she is free so they launch together, but when you are in the hotel with the girls and they are talking abour Aurora he never tells them about that conversation, moments later you have an "encounter" with Adam and you can insult him, mock him or ignore him, I ignored him but later when you talk with Jenny the MC tells her that he insulted him. There is no consistency in any conversation and contradict everything what happened before. Is exactly the same with the girls when Jenny is the "main girl", she is okay with the MC fucking everygirl and even help him to be closer to Ashley, but if you are in Ashley path, she is not interested in him, why in one path she acts like she doesn't care and in the other she cares?? It makes no sense.

The only bad thing about this game is having to reject the girls. A game for each of them would have been great, they are all worth it... :(
It would also have been better if the MC's face was more expressive, although it is the least compared to what I mentioned at the beginning.
I forgot to say that I did not give it five stars not only because of the above, but also because of the poor textures in some renders and the lack of animations

I'm not sure how far along i am far as content wise but what i have played so far i really love it. The story really pulls you in. It pulled me in the first 5 min of the story. Normally i play these games for the fap material and i wasn't gonna play this because i heard it was a slow burn kinda game. But i have to say it really doesn't bother me i just love the story and if it keeps up this way till the end i'll be very happy. The story as you might guess i give a 10/5 stars art work is 5/5 stars the girls are all great personalities 5/5 stars i haven't gotten to the sex scenes yet but had a few nudity scenes but at this point i'm not that worried about the quility as i'm sure it will be as good as the rest of it is. All in all i give this an 5/5 rating i highly recommend this game.

This game has one of the best renders I've seen so far. There are, at certain points, subtle animations like hair movements that are absolutely stunning.
Ambient music complements this beautifully. It just lets you sink into the render completely.

However, everything else leaves a lot to be desired.
    - Unrealistic background setup and character dynamics just breaks the immersion and constantly reminds me I'm just looking at a computer screen.
Consequently, the story is uninspiring and feels like a bunch of side quests sewn together. Conversations are trivial and gets you nowhere.
    - Characters are basically drama queens making untimely gloomy faces. I think this is half the renders. Genuinely not fun to interact with.
    - Every girl is just love at first sight with the MC. I know there is a relationship point system, but does little to none in terms of sense of accomplishment. Relationships are not earned, but entitled.

With renderings this good I expected SOOO much more. Sadly, the deficiency is substantial.

This is the first time I write Review :) Pardon me for my English skill.

After playing chapter 5, I can say this is one of the best VN I've ever played. The starting is usually mixed with the morderns and the nostalgia, sometime I feel it carried a deep feeling and emotional. Beside some small problems, AoA had lots of things, that the other VNs didn't have. Well that explained why AoA didn't have to create too much "Chaos" to make me in love with this VN.

With the ingenuity in building the characters, the dev let me know about the innocent school romance, "College is the place of love,". In my area, the chance to get to know about this ~0. Now thanks to the VN, I knew how boys and girls will react when they have their first love, first kiss, even first 'make out'.

    1) Yeah, well, the girls played an important role in the VN, make the story and the renders became colorful and awesome:

By building the "Jenny's Gang", I can feel the importance of team making, and then become a family. Each girl has their own story, their own path, their own scars in their minds. But they didn't give up, they help each other when they can. Their reunion now undimmed by the time, unbounded by the situations. Not only that, in them i can see the true-right of a citizen: the desire for justice, the pursuit of hapiness, and the dreams of a better life.
By using "Ashley's Group", now I can see what's normal college students's life. Optimistic, Girlish, Cheery are the right words to describe them. Especially, when they're in love, it could be a bit cheesy but sweet. When seing friends in trouble, they're not hestitate to be a helping hand, when they could
The characters "Elizabeth, Aurora,..", now I believe: No matter how stressful they are, how busy their works are, it didn't turn them into a "dried" robotic girls. They are still so romance, and they both love the mc in their own way.
From the character "Jenny", now I realized that I have lots of things to learn from her. What are those? I think I'll let you guess then, it's not easy to say in words anyway.
Last, but not least, Adam... Slow down, you must think I'm completely out of mind, but just hear me out first. Do I hate him? Yes and No. By building this villain, Adam reflected the sadly reality. By their own benefits, some people wouldn't mind solding you out, no matter if he/she's your family member. Or putting your life in danger to exchange the power, etcetera.. I wasn't lying, some of you are reading my review chose to be this kind of person. What matter is, are you going to change?

    2) Next, the background music turn the VN to a lively world:

Hello Love is the first song came to my ear. From the first chapter to chap3, the bgm was awesome. Each of them matched the stories and the situations perfectly: Sad, emotional, romance, sexy,.... But from C4, why do I feel like it changed? Where are my favorite bgm??
Well, I can list some of my favorite musics: Hello Love, Burried Treasure, Pacifica, So Good, Coastal, For the Moment, In the Sky, You Won't Find Me,...
In short, the bgm is amazing

    3) The Renders fired it up!

    - Each girl's emotion are so real, so deep, so good! I love his renders. Eyes colors, haircut,... mixed together, with their emotions, the characters became more delicate. This is one of the rare feature in VNs

    4) Uh-huh, the bugs screwed it up... a bit...

    - What a shame! Nobody likes bugs ofc. I saw some wrong worlds using, even wrong characters in conversations. What happened in chapter 5, maybe I don't have to talk about it. Hope the dev's going to fix it soon! I prefer a stable VN, no matter how long does it cost, I can wait!
    - Moreover, in some sexy scenes, does the dev have to describe it "that" detailed? I feel it's unnecessary, but for some solo translators.... "Ugh, so f*ckin* long, so exhausted"... If the next update released with fewer details in lewd scenes, the translators could do their work properly with a fewer hiccups.

Well, this is an "almost perfect" VN, in my opinion. Wish the dev all the best and succesful in your life, and thank you for some "lessons" you taught me by this VN.

    Alright university romancing game

Its good, but barely any sex scenes. Easiest scenes to get are from jade but come on. Its jade. No thanks.

Also this isnt the type of game where you can just go around romancing everyone, there are some characters who will lock you in which makes others unavailable to you. For example if you go too far with ashley you can no longer go for sung ji or vicky. This doesnt apply to the other group of girls though. So you can technically romance ashley, from GROUP1 of girls and valery from GROUP2 at the same time + the teacher/aurora(but i didnt try her).

But yea if you want romancing university game with not a lot of nudey campy stuff this is fine. The story is a bit strange and overly serious for a game about university life, and it makes the ordinary life stuff a bit awkward. But nevertheless its fine.

In summary needs more cunny sung-ji nudity+harem and incest then it will be perfect. But harem and incest not coming so 4/5. Thats the best i can do with the story being the melodramatic over the top thing that it is.

I took a break for a few months and didn't play this game hoping for the best after a couple of updates. But unfortunately, as much as I don't want to admit it, it got even worse.
This project attracted me with awesome renders, but I stayed because of the story that started so well. After a few updates, the plot has ceased to be as fascinating and intriguing as it was at the beginning. I thought that the dev just has a small creative crisis and after a couple of updates everything will be back... But no, the plot still has big problems. And I don't even know the specific reasons, I just lost my interest in this narrative.
Now I continue to play only because of the beautiful renders, high-quality animations, music... But I still hope that this game will be great again someday.

A.O.A Academy is a victim of its authors ambitions. It attempts to make a slow-burn college romance with a MC whose farm-boy charms and massive penis help soothe the damaged souls of the impossibly beautiful women that come into contact with him. A Visual Novel with multiple branching romantic trees and mutually exclusive actions and scenarios that, I expect, were intended to mesh seemlessly, and in the early chapters it works pretty well. In the later chapters however, things begin to unravel as the villian plot gets sillier, the characters including the MC start making poor and oddly irrational choices, and the branching romances begin to overwhelm the author with scenes getting repeated with different simultaneous love interests.

It's not all doom and gloom as I'll illustrate now.

    Pros:

    1. The renders are some of the highest quality I've seen in a visual novel as are the variety of faces, hairstyles, and characters. A lot of work was done to make sure the various love interests were easy to differentiate. No plethora of tractor tire breasts as far as the eye can see. Background characters are also rendered well and there are numerous non-love interest men and women you interact with who are also well rendered and unique.

    2. Music. It's there, and it's excellent. It does a great job of setting the mood and keeping you emotionally invested in the story and characters, like a good movie soundtrack does.

    3. The animations are very well done. There are quite a few non-erotic animations, flowing hair, blinking eyes, etc which make the characters feel more alive. The sex animations are also well-done with lengthy setups and executions and multiple stages filled with dialogue that gives a mental account of what the characters are feeling to go along with what the animations and still frames are showing.

    4. The story is, in the early stages, entertaining and with a decent setup. You're leaving the farm after a tragedy and joining a college program that just so happens to be filled with beautiful troubled women with extensive backstories that can only be cured by your folksy charm and massive erection!

    5. Long story, and I mean LONG. A lot happens and a lot is said about what happens, and that's not including the numerous mutually exclusive paths you can take with different characters. You might take Jenny out for a date which can take a solid 30 to 45 minutes of scenes and dialogue, or go to the movies with group of possible love interests which will take a similar amount of time. This VN is insanely long given the short time the author has been working on it.

    Cons:

    1. The plot after Chapter 2. As of writing there are 5 chapters, and everything after Chapter 2 quickly devolves into what Roger Ebert coined The Idiot Plot, defined as when a movie would end within five minutes if the characters weren't idiots. Starting in Chapter 3, the MC and his love interests begin making uncharacteristically fatalistic and irrational decisions despite the villain of the series making blunders that would get even the most well-connected mobster thrown in prison with ease. At one point a character is kidnapped at gunpoint in front of witnesses and not only is nothing done at the time, but the other characters return to their dorm as if there's nothing more to be done. They can't even be bothered to make the effort to contact people that might be able to help, or to even inform other important characters what has transpired. After the kidnapping is resolved, no one even discusses how they could bring the perpetrators to justice, which is insane given that the plot itself was executed terribly and would have left an easily traceable electronic paper trail. This continues on into the 4th and 5th chapters with the MC and love interests continuing to be act perplexed at the very notion that the law, despite it's alleged corruption, might actually help them with their problems. "Oh gee, he's just so powerful" with no real evidence to the contrary.

    2. The series is a slow-burn, but an inconsistent one. Some love interests are ready to get down within minutes of seeing the MC while others don't have a single scene after five chapters. As far as sex, despite an epic length of 10 - 20 hours depending on how fast you read, there are only two or three characters you actually reach home base with. There's no group sex yet though it has been teased, and while there are non-sex intimate moments, most of them end with a rather lukewarm hand-job or mutual masturbation. I appreciate a good slow burn, but given the time involved the MC should be further along by this point.

    3. The author does a poor job of letting you know when a choice you make is going to lock in a love interest and exclude others. You might be expecting to eventually get in good with a particular character only to find out that you’re missing all the romantic scenes because a choice made far earlier locked you out of that path without any warning. Scrappy’s Mod is a must, though I would prefer if the author simply made it crystal clear when these choices occurred. “If you click yes, you will get to romance Ashley, but you will no longer be able to romance Jenny. FAIR WARNING!!”

    4. While some love interests are locked out by choices, others seem to not care that you’re dating others. Useful if the author intends some type of harem building later on, but in this case, it leads to a lot of buggy scenes where you’ll trigger a love interest to converse with you at the back of the bus followed by a jealous glare by another, and then the scene will play over again with a different love interest who is also jealously glared at by another. At a party, I had a love interest approach me on a balcony until we’re interrupted by a shout off-screen. Instead of cutting to the new situation, I reappeared at the balcony and a different love interested had basically the same conversation the previous one had followed by the same off-screen shout! In Chapter 4 I had two different love interests fetch the same medical kit for me so that the other could talk about her feelings. This should be easy to fix but these bugs have persisted for several chapters, and they’re quite immersion-breaking.

In summary, there is potential here. The sex scenes, when they finally arrive, are well-animated and well-written. The love interests are gorgeous with well fleshed out backstories and interesting personality quirks. If the author can get the plot back to a saner level, clean up some of the older bugs, and expand on the less advanced love interest paths, it could easily be one of the best VNs on F95. As it is now, I’d say it’s a solid 2 ½. There’s potential, but the current issues really bring the enjoyment down.

On a side note, much is made of the MC’s massive penis. Normally this is enjoyable wish fulfillment, but for some reason the author has decided to have it cause more scenes to end disappointingly than anything else! More than one erotic scene is ruined because a love interest couldn’t fit the MC’s girth into… well, pick a hole. A puzzling choice, having the player all ready to finally get a sex scene after 15 hours of play time only to find that it just doesn’t fit, so settle for a weak hand job. REALLY!!??
