i was originally not interested in playing the Anna Cheats path, as long as she does nothing but keep on rejecting Chris while fucking every other guy she meets..well not Hank either. or the loser janitor.. but i have changed my mind and decided to play it.

Nothing about the way that Alexia informed on David makes sense really. It seems premature given the long game the coworkers seem to be playing. My 2 cents is that gym girl brought some random dude just in case Anna went berserk and tried to gouge her eyes out with her press on nails. Trying to stick to the story she fed David, she identified him as the ex-boyfriend. We won't really know what the story is until we see it from Anna's perspective.

Yeah it was really weird that must be a bug Surely because that part doesn't make sense and I was confused because how does the ex-boyfriend go to Anna's house with Alexia which ex-boyfriend would do that.
Did Anna not notice that?that something was not right in this story of the two visitors..

Maybe Alexia didn't introduce her "boyfriend" to Anna as her ex.
David only assumed it must be Alexia's ex when Anna accused him of being unfaithful because Alexia mentioned an imaginary ex to David at their gym workouts.
now they just pretend that they are together and want to make a clean sweep by confessing everything to Anna about David's supposed betrayal.

Our Kendra is intelligent, Machiavellian and organized, but lacks the virtue of patience, especially when she is not medicated. The times she has gone out, anxiety eats away at her. On Thursday night she asks Jake for results that are impossible. So she gets the idea of a crazy visit from Alexia and her boyfriend. That will accelerate the processes with Anna by the blessed chance (for Kendra) that Chris was there, sends photos and lies to Anna. The result is that the two stories square, Kendra's warnings come true.
I imagine the scene with the protagonist boyfriend telling Anna a story where David, a 30 year old man, is a player, a Don Juan who has corrupted the naive Alexia, so young. Anna, for reasons we will see, wants to believe this story because it coincides with Chris' story. It is easier to believe that, than to think that there is a conspiracy that encompasses Kendra, Chris, Jake, Alexia and her boyfriend. Even though David's behavior is absolutely contrary to David's personality. Plus Kendra has been recounting the symptoms of a cheating husband and they all add up.
