I haven't disappeared. I've been working on Wednesday, but there's been a delay on the visual part of it, so I haven't been able to develop the full day yet. I've been wanting to send out sneak peeks, but we're not quite there yet. I'll share the attached picture from Wednesday night though where we see that Anna's mind is wandering instead of sleeping. What could she be thinking about??
Needless to say, the next update won't be in January, but I'm pushing for February and will keep you posted. Things should heat up soon.

Both me and my partner played through the game update and had another fascinating discussion about it. She actually made a game of it and took a screenshot every time she caught a red flag of Anna's narcassim. She ended up with a mind-blowing 27 screenshots so we will not be sharing all of them. However, we agreed that a few of them are of note...
This is very common in narcissists, who lack inherent self-worth. The vulnerable variety, which we agree is Anna's pathology, often are susceptible to the kind of flattery that Kendra, Chris, and Jake provide. They feed on it because they need constant validation to alleviate their insecurity.
Narcissists often project their false beliefs on their partner baselessly. She believes that David must be jealous of her because that is how she would feel if the roles were reversed. She also projects her belief that the man should be the main provider of the household onto him, demonstrating how she has lost respect for him. In reality, David is proud of her but she cannot accept that because that would invalidate her envy.
Anna is blind to the potential damage that her dating her boss could have on her marriage because she is fixated on what advantage the liaison can provide her with. Even if it is ostensibly just business she has full awareness of his intentions as he makes no effort to conceal them. She disregards any feelings either her spouse or her boss's wife may have on the matter.
This one speaks for itself.
Narcissists are prone to becoming abnormally attached to shallow and superficial relationships, especially in the early phases of infatuation. The term limerence is often applied to the poor judgment and impenetrability to reason that they experience during this early period of a new relationship. The butterflies that she is referring to are not in her stomach, but a rush of dopamine to her brain.
Hoovering and discarding is the narcissistic practice of sweet-talking sources of narcissistic supply so that they can resume the flow of validation. It is usually initiated by the narcissist to their target by throwing out some bait to see if they can get a bite. Their intent can be either a positive or negative reaction as they feed on both. Once the narcissistic supply dries up or loses its luster narcissists have no compunctions about disregarding and discarding those whose feelings they played with. This is incidentally bad news for Chris.
There are many more, but these were the ones we highlighted the most in our discussion. Another thing that struck us was how awkward and socially inept Anna appeared to be in this episode compared to what we have seen of her before. She is obsessed with coming off as professional and competent yet overshares and under-engages with her coworkers consistently.
Extra: Kendra's mental state continues to deteriorate and this is worrying. She entertains an elaborate fantasy of a happy ending to her insane plan where David and an identity she no longer identifies with ride off into the sunset. Her disassociation from her BPD, if left untreated, could result in a full psychotic break.
