And maybe I am not understanding 'double standard' remark. I think what SSLOVOE was hitting on is the nature of Anna/David's relationship with regards to others.

Correct me if I am wrong but it all comes down to distinction of what is cuckoldry. From the most classic definition of cuckold, if the woman {depending on the cheat, i.e. copulates with another male), the husband/boyfriend has been cucked, period. Some would cut hairs as to what cheating is... but generally in context to this game if Anna cheats with another man, well....

Left a review for the game to help the algorithm along. Initially I wanted to put my condense thoughts here, but after reading the recent posts, it's clear that some players feel pretty strongly about certain aspects of the game and I didn't want to stoke the fire in a negative way.

Good points though. I can understand why some folks would question the couple's trust dynamic. It's a bit on shaky ground from where the story takes off. Stressed out husband with performance/physical anxieties and sex starved wife with career worries. Add to top it off, the funky stuff that gets dropped on them like a ton of bricks and it can all go south really fast.

Still I have to say, the trust project for both parties can be formidable based on your stats. Sure Anna gives David a hard time but she is overwhelmed with evidence and bad advice to crucify David. Yet, dependent on the choices made, she can keep her head level to not give into emotional turmoil and instead believe both her instincts and the history she has with David to make a call based on reason.

Same with David. You can choose to trust your wife when "suitors" come along making odd gestures, but when face to face, he did punt Jake in his place, proving both that he can be both trusting and defensive should the need arises.

All in all, I'd argue that while games that give player more agency with molding their main characters are awesome, they do end up opening a Pandora's box of complicated relationships. No two players would make the same decision throughout their playthroughs and I wouldn't be surprised if they come to different conclusion on they feel about character dynamics.

However, have you noticed in some cases Anna doesn't communicate her whereabouts and activities to David? Couples have to make some leaps of faith in their trust when it comes to these realities.

We can take Timothy and Dale in the story for example. They are both married but still behave as they were in some frat. Be it those two or Anna, that is the kind of behavior just proves trust from their partners are misplaced. Most societies condemn those kinds of activities. But it is part of the human condition for good or bad.

3*In APM there were a lot of problems between David and Anna long before Kendra stepped into the picture. Just an FYI there are still explosive mines, and armed munitions still from WWI that lay dormient in Belgium....and both Anna and David's past brought their own hazards into their marriage. Now some 100 or more years haven't seen a by gone era explosive hasn't gone boom yet in Belgium--YET. But in APM some crazy psycho Kendra in a vendetta has laid her own bomb on top of one of those long-ago mines that she herself isn't aware of.

Anna has a many-headed problem going into her marriage. First of them being she is still scarred from her childhood with a serious of daddy issues (love and acceptance, a dad's pride, positive attention and nurturing). So desperate to get her father's love and comfort and approval, Anna couldn't focus enough on herself to grow and become a well-rounded individual. Throw in father was a demanding tyrant and control freak. That kind of family life with dictator controlling every aspect of Anna's early life as means Anna was too sheltered from the rest of the world. And Anna did rebel on occasion. Now Mr. Palmer hasn't made it canon, but I suspect the whole reason why she chose David in the first place, he wasn't like her father. Still when David tries to 'protect,' Anna is torn between rebelling against what she sees as being controlled, and the comfort of having a controlling figure like daddy keeping her safe.

David... oh boy! He came out of a toxic relationship and now has the very same psycho looking to destroy his life, Kendra. Kind of reminds me of the old movie "Fatal Attraction." Now for most men seeing a goddess and being awestruck is pretty normal, and that was Daid meeting Anna. Now the problem with these games is we don't know all a character's motives and mindsets...so how much is Anna a trophy wife and ego boost for marrying a goddess--story doesn't say. But David's inner thoughts in the story alludes to how David frets about other men's intentions toward his beautiful wife and how clueless Anna is about other men. The most damning thing about David I've mentioned before is of his worry about other men seducing Anna, the one man he knows the best, Chris, he doesn't suspect anything? David suspects a set up and the prime suspect is willing to have a beer with you and let you bleed your thoughts and feelings too? And David doesn't rethink all the advice he is getting from Chris?

Yes, David doesn't trust other men around Anna, OK. But what does that say about David trusting his wife Anna to not give into seduction? So how much inner doubt does David have that he isn't enough to hold onto his wife?

Kendra willing to put a gun etc..these happens after David broke up with her..and she went crazy after that in depression. There was no issue with her when she was with David.

See the story is developed only in 2 paths ...both are faithful and both are corrupt. Now depending on people fantasies, they're playing the game..where they wanna see like Guy always remain faithful but the woman cheat and get corrupt and guy is always understanding and trusting his girl...This kind of gameplay will make seems Ana like a bitch. But the story is not designed in that way.

The story for corrupt path of Ana will make more sense when one play corrupt path of David..Then we will see like Kendra is jealous of Ana and want her to be corrupted to get back to David. And we see Ana corrupt actions are based on how David try to cheat on her...And then we also see David is not understanding, telling her off, getting angry on her for asking basic question about business etc...And even David doubt on her all the time when she hang out with her office colleagues...That's when we see why internal thoughts of Ana is bending more towards corrupting route and why she is going against David and the initial development of hate towards David... that will make more sense story wise.

But yea everyone has different fantasies and way of Playing...where they like to play like poor guy and a hoe kind of storyline lol. But this VN is not designed that way story wise even in corrupt route.. To enjoy proper corruption path and storyline of Ana, one has to play David corruption path too, where he's jealous and not understanding. Then we'll see Ana's action is based on her past experiences (flashback scenes) + development of anger slowly against David where he's trying to control her even after being guilty or we can say how David treat her in his corrupt and jealousy route.

Same way he's developing slow corruption route or confusing path...where he gave few options in between to go with the flow rather play a full corrupted route....But the dialogues in that path are picked up from either faithful path or corrupt path depending on point table. It's just a path where David is not getting angry on Ana. That's all....And gave option to Ana on that route not to completely give in to corruption after tease with a chance for Ana to get back to David. So in the end, it will follow the faithful path only dialogue wise. That's my guess.

If you have played David as corrupt then we might see David kendra scene in the end too ..that's a probability ....so both David and Ana will be hoes lol.
