Jfc the entitlement of people. To punish devs for doing what they want with their game? Are you hearing yourself? Do you think you are entitled to what the dev makes? When you pirate stuff, you are owning something you never paid for. That is in no way justifiable to the dev who had to make the product. If you don't like it, then just don't subscribe. But no, the dev has to follow Filipis' wishes because he is the main character in this world, and has to develop the game the way Filipis wanted. You have no moral ground to stand on. You are just leech like me and everyone else. Even I, someone in a game pirating site who also pirates porn games, isn't this entitled or self-righteous. I may dislike something but I don't pretend as if the dev owes me something.
Do you even know what enshittification means? The game going into the direction you don't want isn't enshittification. This is a porn game, it was never realistic. You're complaining about rubbing on film as if having your girlfriend's tits getting sucked by someone else is totally realistic and amazing writing. Enshittification means a product quality going lower on the purpose of exploiting its consumers. What is there to exploit by the dev? If people don't like the update and thus less willing to pay, then how is that enshittification? You just don't like nts in the game, that doesn’t mean it's enshittification. Keyboard warriors are really the most amazing creatures in the world, they are the loudest online and yet somehow write the dumbest things. Saw this VN back in january and yeah, I was impressed back then. For a phone VN especially. Writing was solid, renders were good, UI was clean, said that more than once already. Early Bella Roy Rick stuff actually worked and that scene where Bella lets him grope and kiss her while her bf is encouraging it was literally the peak. That’s when I almost subbed to the patreon. So the whole take about me not liking NTS is just wrong, like objectively wrong, but ok.
What’s funny is getting called entitled by someone who then immediately makes assumptions about my position. Apparently I’m some freeloader talking shit, meanwhile I was closer to paying than most of the people clapping along no matter what gets pushed out. But sure.
My issue started after the Unity switch and the endless rewrites. Writing just went downhill fast, even for a porn VN, and then instead of fixing that we get this random new feature dropped with no poll, no asking patrons, nothing. Nobody asked for it, it doesn’t improve the core problems, but I’m supposed to pretend it’s not a gimmick or a greedy pivot. Right.
And honestly, seeing people eat it up like this explains a lot. Standards here are on the floor. As long as there’s renders and a kink checkbox ticked, the writing can be nonsense and people will still praise it like it’s untouchable. That’s kinda sad, not gonna lie.
The developer is literally the one that started this thread and he was active when it was good here. Posting a game publicly means people will comment. Not just praise. This isn’t some personal vendetta against the dev, it’s pointing out that earlier versions were better and set expectations that just aren’t being met anymore.
If you like the current direction, good for you I guess. I don’t, and pretending all criticism is entitlement or bad faith is just cope. If I sound arrogant it's because I was up for a fap and wasn't even close. Pre nut disappointment i suppose. Cheers.
